Nice hotel They have coffe out all day, sometimes cookies, and the breakfast is good. The rooms are nice and pretty large too

Clean, but disappointing in other areas
Our stay was pretty standard. The room was clean and comfortable. We chose Holiday Inn Express because it had complimentary breakfast and an indoor pool. Unfortunately the hot tub was out of service. The breakfast as very limiting for anyone looking to watch what they ate. There was no fruit at all, nor was there any yogurt. The "scrambled" eggs look like they had been whipped into sponges. My breakfast consisted of 2 boiled eggs and bacon. I was very disappointed. The staff commented that. Some times some items were very hard to get in. My thought is, there is a grocery store near by, it should be used in just such cases. Customers pay more to come to you expecting these amenities. While checking in, I was asked for a separate credit card for "incidentals". I gave the second card and asked what would have happened if I didn't have one after driving 5 .5 hours. I was simply told that this was a new policy since I had used Hotels.com. They didn't know what would have been done had I not had the credit card. That is just poor business. Who comes to Paden City, WV and holds a rager in their hotel room, it's not like at a resort beach town with unruly partiers. Besides, I'm 61 and can assure you that there was no need for a CC for "incidentals".

A credit card for incidentals is a standard procedure in hotels and is not new to our hotel, when booking through a third party site (like Expedia) we have to have a form of payment on file should anything happen in our guest rooms. I apologize about your experience with breakfast - we do offer bananas on our breakfast bar and the yogurt is located in the breakfast fridge beside our coffee bar. We also offer other items including biscuits and gravy, pancakes, sausage or bacon, and our famous cinnamon rolls. We hope to have the opportunity to serve you again in the future!

Everything about this hotel was perfect! Front desk staff were extremely helpful with providing other ideas of what to do in the area. Room was spacious and beds were heavenly. You could even do your own laundry with their machines

Check-in was smooth. The clerk was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean; the rooms were nice, and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was good, and different choices were available each morning. We stayed three nights because we were in the area for a funeral and related events. We would definitely stay here again.

Clean, well maintained property. Excellent amenities: breakfast included, gym, pool, laundry facilities. The best attribute is the staff; friendly, helpful and making sure everything is taken care of during your stay.

My family and I stayed Labor Day weekend. The event we were going to Sunday was rained out. While trying to find something to do, we noticed the hotel had a badminton net and cornhole boards. The staff took their time to find everything we needed! We had a blast taking advantage of what the hotel had to offer. The front desk staff was so nice! Thank you for a wonderful stay! We will be back next year!

The hotel was very clean, staff was especially friendly and helpful. Our event was canceled but thankfully they had a badminton set and cornhole games set up that helped to pass the time. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Hot tub was not in service which I was looking forward to using and the only reason for the stay at this hotel. The hotel was still playing the stupid covid games as well which is ridiculous.
