"We liked the coziness of the boat, the views of the river, the surrounding areas were beautiful. The only negative thing we could say was that due to the ran/wind the boat creaked and it made it hard to sleep for one of our nights."

"Clean property, free breakfast, pool seemed to be under maintenance while I was there. Walking to any dining options in the area felt unsafe due to a lack of cross walks"

"This was a good stay for our family with 7 adults and 3 young children. The home was exactly as pictured and very clean. Its located in what seems to be a quiet, nice neighborhood and the fenced backyard with fireplace is great. The owners have a no visitor policy which includes brief daytime visitors so take that into account when booking. There's a strict no shoes in the house policy as well, which I actually appreciated because it keeps the carpets and floors clean and since we have a crawling baby that's a plus. There is a large foyer with a shoe rack so plenty of room to take off shoes there. The first floor laundry was great when trying to pack light! The beds were comfortable. The only thing I'd update is larger bath towels.James, the property manager, was helpful and quick to respond. I'd recommend this home. "
A Cozy And Classic Hatteras 43' Yacht In One Of The Best James River Locations
10/10 Excellent
"This was a nice get away for my husband, me and our two dogs. The marina is inside a gated community in a nice area of Richmond, about 30min drive downtown with lots to do locally. We would love to stay again next time we are in town, the river is so peaceful and relaxing."
A Warm and Cozy 50' Houseboat in gated, quaint and peaceful marina near the city
10/10 Excellent
"Captain Ron met us to check in. Very nice and helpful. The boat is docked in a private, peaceful area. You can hear some distant traffic noise and occasional faint train, but otherwise very quiet. The boat is older, with ongoing repairs and painting, but was clean and cozy. Has a large, full shower with hot water and a toilet that is similar to RV toilets. At the top of the dock is a building with full bathrooms and "regular" flushing toilets, as well as laundry facilities. The kitchen is equipped well with appliances and dishes. We enjoyed sitting on the upper deck, watching the fish jump and enjoying the river view. A few people live in the neighboring boats, but everyone was extremely nice. If you are adventurous type, that enjoys outdoor/camping/"roughing it" experiences, this houseboat is a great choice. "
"Fantastic cabin very close to town and boat ramps. Not 1 complaint ! The place is amazing with a pond and a large property. Interior has amazing woodwork. Very quiet, private, and secure.Gated entrance. We had 4 trucks with boats attached and fit in the driveway. Well lit areas for entertaining or in our case rigging rods and reels for fishing. This is a special place if you are coming to fish the James River. Just an all around perfect place. We will be back again next year !!"
