This former Department Store built in 1898 has been restored into 4 modern design loft apts, setting the standard for affordable luxury in the heart of Downtown Bristol. This is a stylish open concept loft, featuring exposed brick walls, beautiful hard wood floors & private deck. Our loft is located on the State Line dividing Virginia & Tennessee. This loft is smartly appointed, just bring a change of clothes & explore our vibrant, walk-able Downtown. Come let us pamper you! Its Bristol Baby!

We historically restored this Betty Gay Department store building and you will love the cool vibe and ambiance! Its a great place to relax & unwind after a busy day of exploring Bristol and the surrounding area!

You will have the entire loft to yourself and have your own private entrance. The loft entrance is up the back steps. You will have your own private deck.

Other things to note

Must be able to climb stairs. Our loft is located on the 2nd floor. Only 26 steps to the 2nd floor Urban Lifestyle Loft!

The loft must be rented for at least 3-night stays for both NASCAR Bristol races and the Rhythm & Roots Music Festival.

Best place in Bristol!

I've stayed at a lot of rentals, and this one was the best-equipped place I've ever stayed at. They thought of everything and made it available. It's a beautiful, comfortable place in a great location.

Absolutely Amazing Stay!!!

This loft is not only beautiful and fully equipped, but the hosts are wonderful, accessible and provide special personal touches, they clearly have a lot of pride in this beautiful place and love what they offer, and they include local info to ensure a wonderful experience. The rooftop deck adds an extra special area to enjoy the evenings and mornings. We recommend this place 100%!!

Hospitality at it's finest!

We absolutely loved this property. Located in the center of town it's convenient to everything yet still feels tucked away and quiet inside. The decor is unique and the thoughtful amenities make it feel like home. We would love to return!

Family Visit

We have stayed at the loft before and enjoyed it so much we decided to stay again while visiting family. Anything you could possibly need during your stay is provided and then some. Karen has thought of every little thing and we will stay anytime we visit Bristol in the future. It truly feels like a home away from home.

Quick getaway

Our initial interest was to visit the Burger Bar and not knowing the area we wanted somewhere close. WOW! What a beautiful place and Karen was absolutely the best host! Everything we needed and more was right there and her suggestions of places to eat and visit were great!

Very Nice!!

This was a very nice place to stay! It was very clean and smelled wonderful! It also had everything you would need and more! The property manager was very helpful, ready to assist in anyway we needed and checked on us during our stay. The place was actually very quiet, even though it was in the center of downtown. Would definitely stay there again!!

This loft is an absolute gem! Everything you would ever need for your stay has been provided. Rooftop deck was a great outdoor living extension to the condo. Great location for everything downtown. Ice cream and candy store on the first floor was fantastic also.

This was a beautiful little corner in the world. We enjoyed the location, convenience to downtown Bristol. The loft was spotless and had everything you needed. Five stars for sure. The host Karen was extremely helpful and friendly.

Felt like home

We had a wonderful stay. We were out and about most of the day but did all of our own cooking instead of eating out. There is everything you need plus some! The bedding was great and I really appreciated all the throw blankets and comfy pillows. You can tell that Karen has thought of every scenario. You won’t wish you had anything… all the little things you may forget to pack, don’t worry… she’s got you covered and it’s probably there! Hopefully we can come back someday.

Absolutely perfect loft!!! Without question this is the best place we have ever rented. From the moment we walked in the door we felt welcomed and happy. The loft is impeccably appointed with beautiful furnishings and so well equipped. The host has payed such attention to detail. It was spotlessly clean. The online pictures don’t do it justice. We formed great memories here that my husband and I will look back on with fondness for many years. If you have the opportunity to rent this place, you will not be disappointed!

It’s Bristol Baby!

We came to Bristol for the nighttime NASCAR race. We absolutely loved staying at the loft in a town that has so much history and character! The loft was approximately 10 min from the speedway. Karen was so helpful prior to check-in and during our stay! The only negative is our stay was to short! We will definitely be coming back and will be sharing this VRBO site with all our friends and family!

Comfort and cozy in Bristol

My wife and I stayed in Loft #2 (Urban Living) for 2 nights and the living environment exceeded our expectations. The spacious, well designed/decorated living quarters provided comfort and the gracious host supplied coffee, snacks, toiletries, etc. to add unexpected convenience to an amazing experience. We were able to walk and enjoy a variety of quality restaurants for our meals and take an easy 20 minute drive to South Holston Dam for a breathtaking nature experience. Parking was convenient as well. I highly recommend Urban Downtown Living Loft #2 to anyone seeking to enjoy Bristol. You will not be disappointed. We will be back ! Thank you

Downtown Bristol

The property was bigger and even nicer than it looked in the pictures. Karen thought of everything including providing written notes on how things work, bottled water, spices, tums and even incidentals in the bathroom. The place was spotless and included nice linens and plenty of blankets. The location on the strip was great. We felt very safe and were able to walk from the loft to good restaurants, coffee shops, bars bakeries and antique shops. I recommend staying here and going to fudge shop under the loft as well as Bear Necessiteas for great lattes! I worked from the loft for 3 days and had no issue with internet connectivity or finding food and coffee. When not working, we were able to explore a few nearby lakes and caves. No matter what brings you to the area, this is a great place to stay and has everything needed!
