    Wildlife & Insects
🌲 Being in the woods means you may encounter wildlife and insects — it’s all part of the natural beauty here.
We take proactive measures to keep small critters like mice from entering the home.
If traps are in use, they’re discreetly and safely placed.

❄️ Weather in the mountains can be unpredictable — expect snow, ice, rain, mud, or sudden changes in temperature.
We do our best to keep walkways and paths clear, but nature sometimes has its own plans.
Rock salt is available for use in winter, though in extreme cold, ice can refreeze.
The driveway is plowed after approximately 3–5 inches of snow, depending on conditions and the plow schedule.

🔥 Mountain weather and fire conditions can change quickly. Local or state authorities may issue burn bans, road closures, or state of emergency notices that affect the use of outdoor fire pits, campfires, and cooking fires.
These orders must be followed when in effect.
Failure to comply may result in fines issued by local fire or police departments.
Please understand that these circumstances are beyond our control, and we cannot be held responsible for any resulting restrictions. Your cooperation helps keep you, our community, and our mountain environment safe.

Perfect Location

This home is beautiful, clean and modern amenity. The property is tranquil and quiet. Loved the hot tub and the natural spring pond. My advice for renters is to make sure you have the door code written down and not only in the app. There is no cell service in the area, you can’t access your app.

Clear directions, rooms as pictured; game room was a hit with the kids!Kitchen/dining supplies were a little lightly stocked and a bit odd. We only found 1 wine glass, which appeared to be decorative in nature. Other general kitchen supplies were basic but mostly got the job done.I would recommend firewood to be included or at least advertised that it is not provided. I would recommend some type of cover system for the hot tub as there is no lifting system for the cover. It is rather easy to uncover, but quite difficult to recover, especially in the snow as it gets wedged between the hot tub and the deck and is surrounded by snow and ice and requires 2 adults to basically lift the cover entirely straight into the air.

Beautiful view

House is nice, beautiful view, hot tub awesome and easy to use. Town is run down, quite a few businesses closed. Only 1 towel and washcloth per person. Only 1 bathroom hand towel per bathroom, no extra besides the hot tub towels, so you will be doing laundry often. Cleaning staff not doing top notch job- pans with egg, other pan crusty. I had to move furniture a little and was dusty, also vacuum doesn’t work properly. No spray to clean the counters. 3 large trash bags not enough for 7 people for 4 nights. Had to buy trash bags and paper towel. 3 bathrooms but 2 showers. The game room is cool but don’t love going up and down the basement stairs. Also wish the streaming services were logged into for TV- You have to enter your own. Only 2 bedrooms have TVs. Two smaller rooms no TV. Trip was great, spent most of the time at the house spending time together. WiFi is good- bc they are not lying- there is legitimately no cell service- which was also great bc we couldn’t be bothered. If you’re looking to spend time at the house and the scenery this is definitely a good choice. Also Private! Property manager very responsive. Note that the little pond is up a very steep hill, so if there are elderly or injured guests- that may not be for you. Food store and CVS only 20 min away. beautiful DEER everywhere. No lights on roads at night. So plan accordingly.
