The hosts are charming and the property is stoked in history. The property is convenient to several nearby towns along the Delaware river. Very nice rustic decor.
The hosts are amazing! Super friendly and I felt so safe traveling solo. It was well below freezing but I was warm and cozy. Having the ac hitting the couch was my favorite spot in the house. I can’t wait to come back in the spring to walk in the canal trail (which is so close to this property).
Eleanor and Kirk made our stay really special. They are warm and generous people who are working hard to maintain and restore a historic village. Not an easy task at anytime.
We loved the village and our cottage! The area is so charming with a fabulous old world vibe. It’s tranquil and quiet, close to the towpath for walks and a short drive to all that New Hope has to offer. Historic day trips are within easy reach as well. We were disappointed the restaurant next door was closed but happy to see a sold sign the day we left so we’re sure it will be an asset to the village again soon! We hope to visit again
This was such a beautiful and unique property! We were given a tour and sone history of the village, which was so interesting! It felt secluded, but was so close to so many things! The cottage was so adorable and comfortable and the hosts were super friendly. We will definitely be looking to stay again in the future.
we were in town for a wedding and enjoyed our time at the cottage. it is a unique place with a lot of history. it was close to all of the activities in the area.
We greatly enjoyed the long weekend at the cottage !
Kurt met us and gave a great tour of the grounds and history. Very unique well equipped cottage and comfortable bed. Highly recommend this cottage if you are in the area. Hosts are incredibly nice and accommodating.
Kurt and Eleanor are great hosts. Lots of history of the area. Property is very nice and conveniently located. Cottage is very cozy and provides a nice atmosphere for the guests. Close walk to the canal and into NewHope.
The cabin was as described, lovely, warm on a cold winter weekend, and close to New Hope for an afternoon of shopping and relaxation. Eleanor and Kurt are very kind and gracious hosts, giving a walking history of the property upon our arrival and making sure we had everything we needed during our stay
The property is in a beautiful area and is super peaceful. It looks just like the photos. The craftsmanship of the homes are beautiful. They are decorated beautifully and the history is amazing. I recommend staying here😊

This was the closest I will be to a fairytale cottage. I loved everything about it and my only regret is not staying longer. Kurt and Eleanor are very sweet. The area is beautiful to walk around. The town is very cute. The cottage was quiet and beautiful. It had everything we needed to make our stay special. Now I can't wait to go back. This place is magical!
The area is a nice quiet place. We were able to sit outside and look at the stars without hearing any traffic. But it is still close to alot of different activity's which is really nice. We will most likely stay again some time in one of the other cottages
This cottage is absolutely the cutest! I wish I would have booked an additional night. We were in New Hope for a wedding and did get to take advantage of the peaceful cottage grounds, that are absolutely gorgeous! I will be returning soon. The owner goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect for you! Such great people!!Highly recommend!!
Kurt, the property manager, gave us an amazing tour when we arrived which really added to the charm of this place. My wife is currently pregnant so we didn’t take advantage of how close the hiking trail into New Hope was to the cottage but it was a really short drive into town. We appreciated that we were outside of the downtown area because it made it even easier to get to other cute places we wanted to experience in the area. Very charming cottage and great experience overall.
