"My family plus dogs stayed here in March. We had a great time. The cabin was spacious and clean. We enjoyed the game room and the peacefulness of it all. It was so nice falling asleep to the sound of the stream outside. My son and I drove into Aspen/Snowmass every day which was a bit of a trek (probably about 1 hr 15 min each way) but we got used to the drive quickly and actually enjoyed it as a way to wake up in the morning or decompress at the end of the day. The traffic wasn’t bad either (a little on the way back, but nothing major). All in all, a lot of bang for the buck here. Shopping is close enough - Walmart, etc. The restaurant in town “Miner’s Claim” is off-the-hook. Highly recommend it. Just make sure you make reservations. As mentioned in other reviews, cell service didn’t work for us (AT&T) but the house Internet worked great the entire time. WiFi calling worked fine too."

"This was such a pleasant surprise! Super cute, clean and well equipped room. Would be great if you had littles but was perfect for a couple. Roomy, lots of space to hang out. Our friends actually had burgers in the room when the 88 grill was open and that was the dining room. They loved it too. Planning on booking again for a girls weekend and have already recommended the Ore House Inn to a co-worker. Only thing to note is the key pad secures the key to enter and does not actuality open the door. Hosts were great in our little mishap. Book it!"
