The Casitas At Gruene, #3 Romance Casita

Our sweet Romance casita sleeps two and is just a 5-minute walk from Gruene Hall and Historic Gruene. Guests have access to amenities shared with the other four casitas on the property, including private Guadalupe River access, a picnic area with a BBQ pit, three fire pits, and multiple outdoor seating areas.
- The heart of the Gruene historic district, The Casitas at Gruene are perfect for small groups, couples, weddings, girls' weekends and more. The Casitas at Gruene includes private access to the Guadalupe river.

The Casitas are a five-minute leisurely walk from Gruene Hall and other live music venues, plus endless shopping and dining options! We are located less than an hour from five of Trip Advisor's Best Vacation Spots in Texas, making the Casitas the perfect place to stay on your next trip!

Each Casita features one bedroom, a private bathroom, a living room with a sofa bed, and a kitchenette. When you're done kicking up your heels at Gruene Hall, browsing boutiques, or floating the Guadalupe, come back to your Casita to unwind in complete comfort. All Casitas have access to the river, community charcoal grills, fire pits, and beautiful patio areas.

The Casitas are owned and operated by longtime residents of New Braunfels. We hand-picked every detail, from floor to ceiling, to create the most luxurious accommodations in Gruene. Each Casita is stocked with a coffee bar, wine glasses, fresh linens, and everything you need to feel right at home.

Our stay was amazing! Everything is in walking distance, the Casitas # 3 was just perfect. The bed was SO comfortable I really didnt want to get up in the morning. River access is amazing !!! I am already to go back, I really wish we did not have to leave. We will definitely be booking again!!!

The perfect mix of private accommodations near the hustle, bustle in town life of quaint shops, restaurants and live music in Greune, with just a short private walk down to the outdoor, solitude and wildlife of the Guadalupe River.... what more could you ask for?! Always a great getaway!

Great Gruene Weekend

Beautiful Property

This place is amazing!! Very cute Casitas and decorated beautifully. Amazing detail to our anniversary celebration with a bottle of wine and rose petals on the bed! The staff is so nice and the owner lives on site and visited with us down by the river. The area was set up with game and barbecue are and the area around the river also had a grill area, fire pit, canoes and inner tubes. Just beautifully done and can't wait to go back!!

Great stay in Gruene

Excellent communication from owner. Everything in Gruene (coffee, shopping, drinks, restaurants) are in walking distance (either direction) from the location. Everything was as advertised, very clean, and they went over the top for our anniversary with rose petals & a bottle of champagne. Highly recommend.

Such a cute property! Perfect location for all the local fun, as well as hanging out by the river. 😍 The ramp treck down and up gave us a heck of a work out, but the serene river location and adorable local wildlife made it so worth it! Thanks y'all!

Perfect Location

We stayed here during the Christmas Market and Gruene’s Christmas lighting ceremony. The location allowed us to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The casita is quaint and well furnished. Great path down to the river with plenty of water toys waiting to be used. Cold and rainy during our visit but would love to come back during the summer.

Just Perfect

The location is a very short walk to shopping, Gruene Hall, The Gristmill and the Gruene Mansion. The private river access is awesome and also the perfect place to sit and enjoy a morning coffee or a picnic lunch. The Casita looked like brand new inside and out and the entire property looked like something out of a magazine.

Birthday getaway

This place is conveniently located to all the local hotspots. We were able to walk to all of them. Our neighbors rented a golf cart, so that is also an option. The river access was the best compared to the other places along that stretch of the river. The casita was clean and cozy as well. When we come back, this is the place we would choose again!

In Town for a Wedding

This place was Great. It was very clean and had all we needed to feel at home. The walk to the river was beautiful, I wish it was summer but nevertheless it was so very nice. Restaurants and downtown shopping are a rock throw away and a must to visit Gruene Historical District. We had a fabulous time, thank you Romantic Casita for hosting us. Overall great place, walking distance to Gruene Hall and short walk to the river. Very quiet and clean. The bed mattress was really soft for us and could have had more lighting in the bedroom as well as some counter space in the bathroom. Loved the location and overall quality of the room!

Great hosts!

I booked this property for my dad and son to have a fishing day trip. The staff and hosts went above and beyond to make them feel welcome. When they arrived someone was getting their room ready and had heard they would be fishing so had brought them a bait they had good luck with! The room and access to the river was perfect and they had a great time kayaking and fishing! Thanks for a wonderful time!

Birthday trip!

My friend and I stayed at the Casitas at Gruene for my 61st birthday trip! The location was wonderful! We floated the river one day, but decided to enjoy the beautiful river access that the Casitas offer the rest of the time. Just follow the winding path down to the oasis that awaits you on the river's edge! The whole set-up was perfect, complete with bbq pits, fire pits, beach chairs, floats, kayaks and so much more! Each Casita has its own wagon to help you transport all your belingings down to the water, so you can enjoy your stress free day! The Casitas at Gruene are just a short walk from downtown Gruene and close to several yummy restaurants. We had a great stay and can't wait to come back!!!
