Was a nice big room with plenty of space. Really felt like you were in a log cabin in the woods. Was right across the street from Market Days which was very convenient. Also had a nice pool. Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Cabin

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend in Wimberley and this wonderful cabin. It was clean and comfortable and is within easy walking distance of Market Days and a quick drive into the shopping area.

First Time in Wimberly

What a great location! I enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back! The place is quiet and relaxing. Many BBQ pits and tables to use.

Nice country cabin

Very nice place. Lots of room and quiet area. The place is very close to the heart of Wimberely Town square which was nice. We would definitely come again.

Great location and space. Lots of lights out so navigating after dark was difficult. Place could use some maintenance but overall it met our needs.

Nice place! Very clean. Bed was comfy. Perfect for two people. I didn’t get to truly enjoy my stay as I was super busy and just needed a place to use as a bridal suite to get ready in. Booked for two nights but only stayed one as my husband and I had a change of plans. Check out time was earlier than what I’m used to, at 10am, so I’m glad I double checked the email. Place was gated which was nice. I felt safe and secure. I would stay here again and hopefully next time would get to enjoy the pool or coffee on the porch.

We had a nice visit at the property. Only wished the area by the pool had lighting. It was very dark and would have been nice if the room had a celling fan to make it more comfortable. Overall, It was a nice stay. Albert V.

Won't stay here again.

Definate pros and cons for this place. Cons...animal poop in the corner of the room and behind the ironing board and when we called they told us housekeeping was out for the day. When they came the next day they onlycleaned up one spot not the 4 spots! If it were my vrbo i would go clean it up myself! The shower curtain rod wasn't hung, shower curtain way too small so water went every where, smelled musty and mold was on bathroom ceiling. The toilet seat didn't fit the toilet. Pros...easy check-in and literally across a street from Market Days.

The place is very cozy and was nice and warm when we arrived on a very cold evening which I really appreciated. Sheets were clean and smelled nice. (the pillow cases were cotton, but the sheets were polyester which is a big pet peeve as they sleep very hot, I know establishments like them because they are thin and easy to wash, but it is never nice to sleep on plastic) The location is very convenient to market days, right across the street and only one mile from town. The cabins are gated which is a plus. We didn't get to see the pool. We liked the protection of the entry hall in front of the 4 front cabins. Some items need attention, the exterior front needs a cleaning/de-webbing and windows cleaned. The bed is not properly supported underneath which is super frustrating, they have a bunch of boards but they are not secured and they fall over. The lock is not secure, not a deadbolt, anybody could push in even though seems like a very sweet and safe place, a deadbolt is a must. Also the fireplace came on once but we could never get it to come on again. But the room was huge, the location great as was the price. Overall would stay again.

Great Location but…

The place was crawling with bugs, sheets on the bed had sand or something in them and the wifi didn’t work. They didn’t seem to have a grounds keeper either. I get that guests should clean up after themselves and unfortunately some do not, but there were beer cans left outside the building on Friday and they were still there on Sunday. I would expect someone cleans up when guests don’t follow directions. The bugs…. We found at least 5 spiders and two roaches in our room. There were dead bugs in the bathroom trash can when we checked in. We enjoyed the location, perfectly settled near downtown Wimberley. Just wish the place felt cleaner and less buggy.

We had a great few days in this cabin. The cabin was very spacious and the property grounds were very well kept. The bed in Unit 1 was great, no issues there. I did notice dark hair on the floors, like the unit wasn't cleaned very well. The friend staying with me, and myself are both blonde, so the long dark hair was not ours. I did contact management when we noticed the shower wasn't draining and they immediately responded and said they would put in a work order once we left. When looking for a plug to charge my phone, the plug was centered behind the headboard, and out of reach so I had to charge in the kitchen. Not a problem at all, but while looking behind the bed, I saw 2 pieces of 1x3 wood on the floor, kinda weird and out of place, along with a dime under the bed. 3 things (hair, wood and a coin) tell me the floors weren't cleaned really well. Aside from those very minor things, we had no other issues. The pool was nice, and we chatted with a neighboring tenant one evening, poolside. I would rent a room here again if I was visiting Wimberley. We initially thought we wanted something more "downtown" and once we got into town we loved the location and were glad to not be downtown. Location was about 5-8 minutes drive from everything we wanted to do while visiting.

Our overall experience was good! However, I do have a few suggestions mentioned below. This is a cute cabin and property. The pool had floaties and nice patio furniture. We stayed in cabin 1, nearest the entrance to the property and main road with our patio facing the main road. The road noise was a little louder than expected, so it made sitting on the patio slightly less appealing, but not completely unpleasant. The cabin was clean upon arrival. The bed was comfortable enough. The kitchenette could use a dish drying rack or at least a dish cloth to dry handwashed dishes. The space between the wall in front of the toilet is a little tight. The toilet paper dispenser was on the back wall beside the toilet and my 7 year old could barely reach it. I would image that it could be difficult for most small kids, people with disabilities, or the elderly to twist and reach back like that. We set the roll of toilet paper on the window ledge for easier reachability. Maybe get a toilet paper stand instead. The shower area needs a rug to step out on. Finally, I would have to say the biggest issue that we had was that the shower drained very very slowly and we had to rush thru showers and wait for it to drain completely before the next person showered so that it wouldn't overflow the splash guard/shower threshold. All that being said, I would still recommend others to stay here and consider staying again.

The room was clean and the bed was comfy. The place was quiet and pretty well kept. I do wish the sign was easier to see from the street, though. The rooms aren't soundproof, so you can hear the other tenants.
