3/2 home. Sleeps 14. Master: King. 2nd bedroom: Queen and a Twin over Full bunk bed. 3rd bedroom: Queen and a Twin over Full bunk bed. Living room: Twin over Twin Trundle. 2 Dogs Allowed under 40 pounds. $25 per night, per dog. MUST BE 25 TO RENT. Renter's ID and Credit Card must be presented at check in or via email. In addition, the electronic rental agreement must be signed prior to check-in.

A very luxurious home on the Guadalupe river. Shaded lot with decks along river. Ample parking. This home has everything you will need to make it ."your home away from home". Private covered patio with ample seating and an iron charcoal BBQ pit. Tubes and shuttle service 250 yds. up river. Come and relax on the the firefly's dance each night. Firepit (bring your own wood) and corn hole onsite to use as well!

Home is fully furnished with a huge open kitchen/dining/living room which include many extra amenities A great place to gather and relax after a full day on the river!! The kitchen has everything! Fully equipped and then some including a Keurig 12 cup & K cup combo coffee maker. Owners have provided a child's highchair and Pac N Pay for convenience. Dining room table seats 8 and there are 5 additional bar stools at the kitchen island/ breakfast bar. The living room has a leather sofa, a love seat with ottoman and a twin over twin trundle bed. There is an electric fire place, streaming TV and WiFi that was updated March of 2024 and is much stronger now! Cell Phone Service is very spotty in this area. No refunds/cancellations for outages. Firepit (bring your own wood) and corn hole onsite to use as well!

The master bedroom at the end of the hall has a king bed, flat screen TV and private full bathroom. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms each have a queen bed and a twin over full bunk bed (each room sleeps 5) There is a guest bathroom centrally located to the kitchen as well as the guest bedrooms. Washer and dryer are available for your convenience.

There are 3 houses on this property that share the river access. Right next door to the Texas Star is the Wagon Wheel 3/2 that sleeps 14 and has river views. There is the Bluebonnet Cabin (does not have a river view) that sleeps 10. If you have a large party please inquire about the other 2 houses.

NO PARTIES, NO SMOKING! Guests must be 25 years of age or older to make a reservation and must be staying at the property for the duration of the stay. This home has a maximum occupancy of 14 guests. This maximum occupancy is not to be exceeded at any time. No daytime guests allowed. You can park 5-6 vehicles at this property. To comply with city and county short-term rental permit restrictions, the outdoor areas of this home may be monitored by video camera. This property includes accidental damage protection up to $1500.


The house is conveniently located 15 minutes from downtown New Braunfels, historic Gruene and Schlitterbahn water park. Shopping is just 20 minutes away at the outlet Malls of San Marcos. Nearby attractions in San Antonio include the Alamo, Fiesta Texas, and the famous San Antonio River Walk, just 30 minutes away. You are also a short 45 minute drive from the state capital of Austin, and all it has to offer. In New Braunfels, you will never run out of things to do! WORD permit #L1364

Nice River Getaway

We truly enjoyed this property. It was a great place for our family to stage and go visit Gruene and float the river. Would definitely book again.

Wonderful Cottage

My family was so pleased with the Texas Star cabin!! It was clean, very well-stocked with towels and kitchen equipment, and it had a huge dining table, so everyone had a place to sit and eat or play dominoes! There were also 4 chairs at the bar if you needed even more places to sit. The river access was perfect too. There was a drop-in place for tubes about 5 minutes upriver, and it took about 2 hours to float back to our cabin. Perfect! We would definitely stay there again.

Reviewer Comments: the cabin was awesome. plenty of sleeping spots and lots of indoor space. the outside has a beautiful dock and spacious backyard. it's the perfect location next to Mountain Breeze Campground where you can enjoy a bar, sand volleyball, nighttime dancing, and burritos in the morning. The only think I would change is the entry to the river from the cabin. The dock is awesome but actually getting into the water is a challenge.

A couple of trees in the yard were perfect for hammocks! Our boys loved the shady spacious yard and were outside all the time. Our only “gripe” was that we felt the need to clean kitchen supplies before using them - only one dishwasher tab is provided and it felt like maybe other guests had not brought any and just ran the dishwasher without soap. Counters in kitchen were clear, but not clean. Same with floors ... swept, but not mopped.Overall, it was a wonderful getaway for our family and friends?

It was extremely quiet, close to Mountain Breeze campground where you can access the river and it’s shallow. The house was very comfy and clean, accommodated our family of 6 very comfortably! We will definitely be back!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
