Great getaway in a nice condo

Easy check in, love the updated condo compared to others in the complex. We did have to wash several dishes we took out of the cabinet before we used them. Need more wash clothes, hand towels and bath towels to accommodate 6 guests.

This is the place if you are wanting convenience to Gruene activities. VERY CONVENIENT!!! Well appointed inside and kitchen though we did not spend alot of time inside the condo other than to eat breakfast and sleep. We were there for a wedding and had an event at the Gruene River Grill - literally 50 yards from the front door. Only two parking spots.

Beautiful property, but could be cleaner

Property was beautiful! Perfect location. A little loud but to be expected being in the heart of Gruene. Sheets in one of the downstairs bedrooms had several hairs. There was no top sheet, which was weird to me. I also checked under the beds to make sure we didn't leave anything behind, and it was like someone swept all the dirt and dust under the beds. Needed more bath towels.

House was very spacious for 4 adults and 2 kids. Home was in a great location to be able to walk to everything in Gruene. Kitchen was stocked well with utensils, pots/pans, glasses, plates, blender and toaster which made making meals easy. Bathrooms were nice and updated. Pool area was clean as-well as the water.The only thing that could use updating would be the mattresses as they were all worn.We were happy with our stay, thank you.

Nice place and great location. Our friends staying in one of the bedrooms noticed the alarm clock was cracked. TWO weeks after we checked out we received a message they are charging $66 for the alarm clock which we supposedly broke. They sent us an extremely blurry "before" and an after picture. So take a picture of EVERYTHING on arrival so you don't get scammed as well.

Wedding weekend

The property was perfect for us!!! When we pulled up I was concerned about noise level as there was loud live music that could be heard from outside. Inside was quiet! I was relieved. The condo was very clean. The only negative for us was that the beds were too soft. As a personal preference I like a firm mattress. But the location and cleanliness made up for it! We could walk to the wedding venue and throughout the town. I also wish we could have checked in at 3 and out at 11am but no one returned my message when I asked. Again, not deal breakers, but would’ve been nice.

Girls Trip in Gruene

So many great things to say about this little jewel! Upon arrival we walked in and it was nicer than the pictures. Cute, cute, cute!! The decor and paint colors were so relaxing. Plenty of seating in the living room and at the dining table for everyone. Obviously the master suite upstairs is the best room in the rental but the two bedrooms downstairs were really comfortable as well. They are ideal for children. Full size washer and dryer was very handy to have. Ample space on the outdoor balconies to enjoy some time. Our parking spot right outside our door sure made a difference on a hot summer day to unload and load. Shopping? It’s all in walking distance. Hungry? Lots of places to choose from without moving the car. Gruene River Inn turned out to be our favorite! The only downside to this place is river access. It’s definitely a challenge. Lots of poison ivy and a big drop off. It’s definitely doable but it would be great to have a couple extra steps into the river. If you’re wanting to just float right there or rent a tube and float…it’s a great location. Quiet time between 10pm and 8 is non-existent. I’m not sure who monitors that but the system in place isn’t working.
