Welcome to our spacious 4 Bedroom, 3 Full Bath waterfront river retreat on Brices Creek—perfect for kayaking, paddle boarding, boating, fishing, or simply relaxing by the water. You'll love the large acre lot in the outskirts of town with its own private dock, and location less than 10 minutes from the popular Historic Downtown New Bern and home of Pepsi.

We are excited to host your family for your relaxing family get-away with the comfort of home and proximity to downtown for nighttime adventures. Walk around the City of New Bern and look for all the Bear statues (0ver 100 Bears), or just enjoy a stroll down the river front in New Bern right off the bridge. For a unique dining experience, try lunch at one of the many local restaurants, or dining on one of the waterfront restaurants in New Bern facing the marina.

Situated on a private acre lot, this home offers a scenic view Brices Creek. From the back lawn, you'll enjoy fishing right off the dock or watching other boaters or water skiers pass by. The boat launch is just around the bend across from the corner gas station, Merchant’s Grocery, for your kayaks or boats. You'll be able to fish right off the dock, or if you're brave and enjoy river activities there is a ladder attached for swimming.

The home features a screened porch on the back with a laundry room and three levels, so it offers the perfect space for quality family time as well as separate spaces with a full bath on each floor. We offer two comfy living rooms, one on the 1st and 2nd floors, each with its own HDTV, so you can divide your indoor time if you just want to relax and watch your favorite shows. There are also several games to choose from for a family game night & toys/books for the young & the wise. The kitchen is fully equipped with keurig, coffee maker, crock pot, & pots/pans/baking dishes/utensils. Run the dishwasher for convenience & enjoy a new fridge/dishwasher & stove. Kayaks & washer/dryer available spring/summer/fall.

If in vacation mode, travel a day (45 min) to Atlantic Beach/Emerald Isle and go to the Aquarium with the kids, or visit the Big Rock Landing, where they have an annual fishing tournament, pirates festivals, and several top-notch waterfront restaurants. You'll find several top golf courses, walking trails, and kayak rentals within a 20 min. radius. In the evenings, you can sit by the fire and visit with your family and friends or head downtown for fresh local seafood.

Please keep in mind:
This property is a house, built in 1984 with many nice updates, but it is to be occupied by our guests only. Despite being outside of town, there are full residences nearby that require quiet hours from 9:30pm until 8:00am. Please be respectful to neighbors and honor this as a vacation home, not a place for outdoor reunions or large celebrations. Although we do not allow pets, there are other places close by with fenced in yards that surely will accommodate your fur babies.
