Our home is waterfront with gorgeous views of the marina and sailboats. It's in a resort community and truly offers something for everyone! A super location for families, couples - everyone! All our guests will receive special pricing at one of the Top 50 Public Golf Courses in NC, Carolina Colours! We offer bikes//tennis rackets/set of golf clubs . A short drive to downtown New Bern and 40 minutes to the beaches! Indoor/outdoor pool @ resort, playground, gym, & tennis courts! Pool and Recreation center are COMPLIMENTARY for our guests! We also have Stillwater Kayaks rental right outside our door for more activity fun! You can easily rent a kayak from them and cruise the river! If dates are not open when you want to travel we have our sister property right down the street.

We offer everything you need for an amazing experience in our area. From fishing to kayaking, playing golf or tennis, sitting by the pool or enjoying the indoor pool at the recreation center! Or if you choose just enjoy the tranquil setting from our balconies. Family room has a new 55 inch TV with DVR. Sports equipment includes 2 bicycles , two tennis racquets and tennis balls. Our game room has bunk beds, checkers/chess, playing cards, popular board games and a foosball table! Have coffee at your bistro table off the master bedroom. Enjoy lunch on our outdoor living area while watching the sail boats come and go. New Bern is a historical, fun filled town to enjoy. Arts, history, self-guided walking tours, parks, antique shops, River walks, National park and a variety of food and great restaurants! We know you will fall in love as we did with the area!
Our guest will have access to our entire home, plus all the equipment we provide for activities. We have room for two cars. We will not be in the home during your stay, it's all yours! We have three bedrooms and three baths. Two of the bedrooms have Queen size beds and our other bedroom has bunk beds. Something for the entire family!

New Bern Stay

A group of girl friends went for our annual trip and had a blast. Very peaceful marina that you could sit on the balconies to view activities.Shirt drive to downtown New Bern was great. Enjoyed the Blueberry Festival while we were there too.House and hosts were great!

Family Nest

This was the perfect property to accommodate children, teens, and adults during our stay in New Bern to visit family. We had so much fun hanging out with our family and playing games, exploring New Bern, and visiting the beach that we didn’t get a chance to take advantage of the community center and pool. Something to look forward to in the further! Your home was just what we needed.

Beautiful Marina setting!

We so enjoyed our trip to New Bern, North Carolina, this was a very peaceful and relaxing community to stay in. The cottage had breathtaking views.

Condo was perfect for our getaway. Beautiful location and view of Marina. Quiet and peaceful. Loved the added touch of music CD player and album player. Hosts responded right away to a request. Will be back next family gathering.

A nice home to stay at

This was a nice home to stay in for our holiday away. It was clean, activities on-premise, and close to shopping & places to eat. The beautiful sunrises and sunsets with a great view of the marina. They were very helpful in providing recommendations (BreakDay Charters, Kayaking, food, beach, trails, etc.). Thank you for the ideas and sharing your home!

Vacation during Hurricane Debby

We had a grea time despite the consistant rain. Our hosts were very helpful. The accommodations were perfect for us. We spent a lot of time in the gym. We love New Bern. It was a great stay and it is on our list of top vacations deapite the weather.

Lovely Quiet Unit!

We had a lovely stay. The unit was even better in person than the photos! The kids bedroom is on a separate floor which might be bothersome for some with younger children. A short 3 minute walk to the indoor and outdoor pool which our kids loved! Beautiful view. We had all kitchen necessities. Thank you!

awesome home!

my sons and i stayed here to celebrate my mum’s (who lives in the neighborhood) birthday. the home is very comfortable, with three full bathrooms that are all well-supplied with shampoo/conditioner/body wash and other necessities. starter supplies of coffee etc were there as well as a kitchen fully stocked with essentials for cooking. the views of the marina are lovely. terri and david were excellent communicators (better than i am bc i missed two of their messages). if you are staying in the fairfield harbor area, i highly recommend this home.

Waterfront Marina

This property was Amazing! We had the best time. It was super clean, very comfortable, wonderful scenery. Anytime I had a question the host responded immediately! They were proactive and on it!. When we checked out my grandson left an item behind. I was immediately contacted with an offer to mail it to him! Now that's customer service. I would highly recommend staying at the Pelican's Nest at Fairfield Harbor

The Many Layers & Deer Too!

This was a definate seaside Marina vibe. The decor was dated and cute. The record player was fun to show my teens. I really enjoyed the private deck off The Master Bedroom. It was a treat to see the Deer come out to graze on a few occasions. The hosts provided many extras and a store was a short drive away for extras we needed. If all elsed failed..."Take Out!" Lastly, who dosen't rave about the top mini deck, and most of all "The View" :-))

Best place we've stayed in Fairfield Harbor

We were in this area for a regatta at Blackbeard Sailing Club. This was our 3rd stay in Fairfield Harbor and it was the nicest property so far. It was well maintained and stocked with all the essentials. We love boats, so the view was across the Marina was perfect. The hosts quickly responded to any questions I had, so they were very easy to deal with. However, this would not be a good place to stay for anyone with mobility issues. Like many coastal rentals the property is accessed via a set of stairs going up to the 2nd level and then the 2 queen bedrooms are on the 3rd level. The twin bunks are on the 2nd level but there is no dresser or closet in this bedroom. This wasn't an issue for us but it is something you might need to know.

We absolutely loved our stay in the marina at New Bern. The place was beautifully decorated and very well appointed, with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. The view was simply stunning — the perfect backdrop for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. I especially appreciated the attention to detail, from the classic records and CDs ready to play, to the warm and inviting atmosphere that made it feel like home. A wonderful blend of comfort, charm, and style. Highly recommend!
