"We love the location and charm of this classic motel. The folks who run it are lovely people, too! Plus, it's very
pet friendly
. Our room came with a
dog
bowl, towel, biscuits and doggie bags, and there is a nice lawn in the center of the court. This was our second stay here, and we'll definitely stay there again! "

Nevada City Inn

2.0 star property
5.4 out of 10, (773)
"If you are looking for a location to shoot a movie set in a down and out motel, this would be perfect. It’s really a shame because it could be very sweet. It’s well situated near down town, walking trails and can walk to restaurants. The cabins and grounds could be very pleasant to hang out at if they weren’t so hammered. "

National Exchange Hotel

3.0 star property
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (346)
"This was our second time staying at the National and we absolutely love it. We stayed her last when we celebrated our wedding in 2023, just down the road at Stone House, and wanted to return to the place where we celebrated our special day! It's great having Lola and the Nash attached to the hotel, and it's
dog
friendly, which makes it so great to be able to bring our
dog
with us. The only challenge we had during this stay was that our fridge began leaking water out of nowhere, and we aren't...

100 acres of Private Forest & Creek Waterfalls, 15-Miles of Trails

9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (119)
"This was our third time staying at the Forest Homestead. It’s hard to find a nice place with room for 10 adults, 7 kids, and 3
dogs
that also has things to do on the property or nearby. The house is large and has plenty of comfortable spaces for eating, playing games, hanging out, and entertaining the kiddos (ages 10m to pre-teens). When the weather is nice, we’ve enjoyed frisbee golf and the outdoor lounging areas. This year we drove about 35 minutes to play in the snow and everyone enjoyed...

Downtown Nevada City Private Studio

8.0 out of 10, Very good, (28)
"The owner worked with us because we got in early and was informative about the area. The town of Nevada City was quite green and historic. It weighed out the fact that there was no t.v. We were also able to bring our pet and could tell they were very
pet friendly
in the neighborhood. We would definatly stay here again."
