We had a wonderful stay! The staff were welcoming, attentive, always available, and provided excellent customer service. Our room and the hotel were spotless and beautifully maintained. The location was excellent—close to Vienna’s most important sights, yet in a peaceful neighborhood with plenty of lovely local restaurants nearby. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the city. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it!

The property was not SUITABLE for older couples or guests with mobility limitations, and I am concerned that Expedia continues to recommend this property without adequately addressing these issues.
The hotel had no front desk and no staff available to assist with check-in. Guests were required to call from outside the hotel to obtain an access code to enter the building. Even after gaining entry, guests had to carry their luggage up approximately 12 steps before reaching the elevator. This arrangement is not merely inconvenient; it presents a significant accessibility and safety concern. Imagine arriving after a long journey, carrying heavy luggage, and having to navigate a flight of stairs before you can even reach the elevator. For older travelers or anyone with mobility issues, this process can be extremely cumbersome and potentially dangerous.
What is particularly disappointing is Expedia’s apparent lack of responsiveness to these concerns. As a major travel booking platform, Expedia has a responsibility to provide customers with accurate and transparent information about the properties it recommends, particularly when the accommodations may present accessibility challenges. I urge Expedia to review this property’s listing and take appropriate action to ensure that future guests are fully informed before making a reservation. I would also appreciate a response explaining how Expedia intends to address these concerns.

"Took us almost 1 hr 15 mins to get room allotted even though we had done online check in ahead of time. The front desk needed to collect about 8euros in room fee, and there was about 6 guests ahead of us, all of us waiting for over an hour. Front office staff was slow, and while we were watching, ..."
