Really pleasantly surprised by our stay at Holiday Inn. Was expecting budget, but was really nice. Easy locatltion from train station (6 mins in a taxi), easy walk to the Cathedral where we were visiting for an event. Staff were friendly, hotel was clean, tidy and modern. Welcoming staff, clean rooms, cosy reception area, nicely decorated rooms and amenities. Chic bar/cafe/food and work area. Was perfect for my trip, close to the docks and centre of Southampton for tours, shopping and history.
