"It had all the comforts of a home! Full kitchen, TV with plenty of channels to choose from; electric fireplace; very cozy. Quiet location, met friendly people at both local pubs. Landlord was easily available and helpful. Bedding was too warm for us. Would have liked a lighter comforter or blanket and a small bar of hand soap in the bathroom. "

"The Coach House is a lovely property with incredible views. The property was immaculate and lots of consideration given to travellers. The welcome pack was much appreciated and Chris could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. I loved the upside down style and it did not affect the views. "The property was of a basic nature and very tired in places. The bathroom paint was peeling off the walls. The bed was a small queen bed that wasn't big enough for 2 adults to get a good night sleep. The mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. Due to this we left the property early and had to book a hotel. I also tried to contact the property as advised by Sykes cottages, but my calls were unanswered and not returned. Overall a disappointing stay. There are plenty of better rentals available."

"The room was pretty much clean, not perfect but well maintained. The staff were so helpful and friendly. I enjoyed breakfast every morning and having the option to use the bar until late, this was particularly helpful when wanting a cold drink when I came in after a day of exploring. Helpfully close to the station and town, many places and sights within walking distance. Didn't get a chance to use the spa but would love to go back to try it. Overall great hotel and would definitely book again."
