We stayed at Hyde House during Nelsonville Music Festival as did all the other guests. The breakfast room became a focal point for meeting other music enthusiasts and this really enhanced our experience. Breakfast was hearty and delicious. We look forward to future stays at Hyde House!

For our honeymoon

Our friend had booked this stay for us for our honeymoon and it was perfect. We thought it was so special they did flower peddles on the bed and kept everything very clean! Loved to stay again next time.

Quiet getaway

We had a nice stay at the Hyde House. Rooms were clean and spacious (we were in the Lilac suite). Weekend breakfast was different each day, small selection but filling. Liked being close to the town square.

Lovely Nelsonville House

House was convenient to downtown and Hocking College. Clean, great condition, complete breakfast. Quiet and comfortable. We will book Lilac Room when we return.

OU Mom’s Weekend Viist

The Lilac Suite at Hyde House in Nelsonville was a perfect stay for my visit with my OU student for Mom’s Weekend. Nelsonville is a short 20 minute drive from campus. Love the B&B option at such a reasonable price and lovely location. Breakfast is good, property is very clean and well maintained. Have stayed a there few times now and would happily stay again!

Quaint, beautiful place!

Very nice place. Everything was beautiful and the young ladies who served breakfast were very sweet. Just off of the main square and very close to the bike trail. Was disappointed that the hot tub wasn’t very hot and didn’t have enough water in it.

I traveled with my three sisters (a 4 hour trip) to Nelsonville to attend the Hocking Hills craft show the next day. We arrived at the Hyde house about 4:30 in the afternoon. We encountered the owner who was very short with us almost like we were an inconvenience and couldn’t be bothered. No explanation of house policies or instructions on where our room was. We had the Lilac suite. The rooms were nice sized and included a private bathroom and shower. The rooms themselves were neat but not very clean. You could write in the dust and cobwebs. On the outside window was an active boldface hornet’s nest. There was no one in the house to tell the entire time until the next morning when a lady showed up to cook breakfast. She was not polite. We will not be back. Hospitality 0 Clean 2 Price for offering 1. Out of a scale of 1-10

Pictures online match the property exactly. Our check in person was very warm and friendly. The lady who made breakfast was also very friendly and answered any questions any guest had. This was a perfect place for our trip. The house was beautiful. We all agreed we would stay there again.
