I booked a room here as I was passing through the area to visit Hobbiton, and wasn't sure I could make it back to Hamilton.
The building is firstly a pub, so there was a little bit of noise. However the rooms for staying in are apart from the pub, and a security door blocks any public access.
The room was a decent size, and for just the one night was everything I needed. The bed was comfortable, and being winter, I was glad of the extra heater and blanket in the room. There is a small kitchen for people to use with free tea and coffee, plus a microwave, fridge and bowls, plates etc available, which if you're looking to save money on food is great.
My only downer on the room was that it could have been a little cleaner. There were quite a few bits on the floor which made me think it hadn't been vacuumed.
