Had a party to attend and needed a bed for the night. Very basic, old accommodation here. But it had a bed, that was comfy, with clean sheets and towels. Very light traffic overnight so the trucks didnt bother us as you are right next to the main road. I would have liked a shower when we returned back to the room after the party as it was a bonfire and we were covered in smoke, but no hot water. Checked the next morning and water was warm. Room has a tv, microwave, bar fridge, toaster and a kettle. 2 bowls, 2 plates, a wine glass and a vegemite jar for drinks. So it is very basic but it served its purpose. Lots of dust on head board and bench, so no wipe down before we checked in. I would stay again for just one night as it is far better than dodging kangaroos to the nearest main town
Well i wasnt very impressed with tv reception because there was no and no wfi service in the room and all the power points were turned of and we had to shift the bed to plug my partners cpap machine in and very insufficient lighting outside also very poor steps to try and negotiate in the dark was bad because the concrete was very wet and slippery
Peaceful, tranquil, simple, no fuss, close to the sea, sand bar and Livingstone Island, which is a nice 1 to 2 hour circuit walk with lots of wild flowers and a bird hide at the end to spy on the waders/water fowls, no crowd. Simple pleasures.

Liked: Staff & service
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
The tv remotes didn't work and the batteries were covered in acid, hadn't been changed for a long time, the heater was a little radiant heater and didn't work very well and the bathroom fan was extremely noisy that the room next door sounded like a plane taking off.
