"The Luxury Woodland Retreat near Necedah was a last minute booking for my wife’s birthday weekend. Our family of four enjoyed the amenities including the pool, jacuzzi, and bar area, and surround system for music. The space was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Bedrooms were all very comfortable and well appointed with pillows and blankets. We even took advantage of the fire pit after buying some firewood locally. The contemporary design of the space was very appealing, including the thought put into the architectural lighting accents (I’m an architect, so I enjoyed the thoughtful touches). The space was warm and inviting, however, my wife noted a little artwork and some additional bedside tables and lamps in the master would make it even more so.We did struggle with the three different coffee makers, only getting the Keurig to work. The drip coffee maker doesn’t seem to function; maybe some instruction on the other one would be helpful.It was August during our stay and we took full advantage of the outdoor pool area. There were some issues with wasps nests in the eaves/soffit areas that probably need to be addressed. Luckily no one was stung but they were a bit annoying, and may be a concern for future guests this summer.Overall, we had a great stay and enjoyed the chance to check out the area. If you stay here, we would highly recommend the 30 min drive to check out the Ishnala Supper Club in Lake Delton (WI Dells area)."

"Our family gathered here to celebrate my dad’s 90th birthday, and it was the perfect place for such a special occasion. The house is beautiful, comfortable, and well maintained, with plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy time together. We especially appreciated how responsive and helpful the host was throughout our stay, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free.We had a wonderful time creating memories with our family, and the house exceeded our expectations. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay in the New Lisbon area."

"The place was clean well kept. The host was a good communicator and had good and useful info in a three ring binder, which was handy. The beds were very comfortable.A few more dishes would be better; there were six of us and there were four plates. Not a biggie, and it certainly didn't lessen the fun we had. We would stay there again without a doubt!"
