Marios and his team were so friendly and hospitable as soon as we arrived. The room was so unique, quiet, comfortable and relaxing. The beach was right across the street therefore making it incredibly easy to get too. The bus stop was a quick 10 minute walk and runs every half hour so getting places was incredibly easy. Many options of restaurants nearby and the main town is a short ways away so the options are endless.

It was a perfect stay at the Island Escape. Marios is a heart-warming welcoming host, the rooms are super lovely and uniquely designed. Everything is very clean. Plake beach is im walking distance, and with a rental car perfect spot to explore the island, dine in Chora or in some small taverns in the backcountry. Good daily breakfast on site. Absolutely amazing stay! This is a lovely family run business with a cute resident cat. The room is clean, updated, and modern. Breakfast is included in the stay and is made to order, delicious and changes each day. The location is excellent - away from the hustle and bustle of the port. Also, steps away from Plaka beach and near cute restaurants and bars! The manager, Marios, goes above and beyond! Marios, his family and staff are the friendliest and most accommodating of hosts. The tasty and full breakfast was served in a beautiful setting ( that can also serve in the evening to have a quiet nightcap or cocktail prepared with attention, swapping stories with other guests). The rooms are beautifully designed, original, cool - even in hot weather, we didn’t even need to use the AC - well equipped with a hot tub and kept very clean by the friendly staff. We’re definitely coming back here next time we are in Naxos. I wish we could have stayed longer . Thank you Marios for your hospitality.

Our suite was immaculate and Marios was so helpful, friendly and attentive during our stay: booking taxis, great food and exploration recommendations. One of the best hosts we’ve had! Be warned, the property is a little further down Plaka Beach than other properties, so hiring a car or quad might be your best bet. Otherwise it’s 15 minutes walk to the nearest restaurant or minimum 45 minute walk into town. And the taxis are expensive. But hopefully that won’t deter you from staying at this beautiful property. 10/10, would stay again!

We absolutely loved our time at Naxos Island escape! We came in fall and plaka was very quiet and serene. A lovely escape from some of the more crowded areas. The room was very cutely decorated and within a very short walk to the lovely beach. Best of all was the host. Marios was so very friendly and helpful every step of the way. He helped us plan our adventures during our time in naxos and made sure everything we could need was accounted for. The breakfast was truly amazing every single day. Would happily stay here again.

Great stay at Island Escape. Situated in Plaka a few steps away from the beach and a 16 mins drive from Naxos Port. We loved every minute of our stay. Breakfast was fresh and healthy and our host was so helpful and nice.
