About this property

Cosy Rooms in a Traditional House in the 'Marble Village' on the Island of Naxos

  • Book 1-3 rooms or the whole house, offering you a spacious, bright, cool and serene village house with foundations from 17th Century. 15 minutes from Moutsouna Bay and the fantastic secret beaches of the East coast, the village of Apeiranthos is known as the 'Marble Village' and the 'Jewel of the Cyclades' and is famous for its great tavernas, local gastronomy, friendly people, music, fun atmosphere and many well marked hiking routes. It's an adventurer's paradise! The view from the roof over the valley, mountains and to the sea is spectacular.

Even if you only book one room, you ‘might’ have the whole house to yourself during your stay, depending on the dates. In the meantime, take your morning coffee on the roof and gaze at the moon and the stars at night. You can also do some yoga on the roof (yoga mats supplied) and enjoy the view over breakfast!

Please let me know if you require 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms. If it is 3 bedrooms, then you will be renting the whole house.

The house is very traditional and the foundations date back to 17th century. It is very cozy and the marble walls are very thick, so it keeps nice and cool during the summer months. The house offers 115m2 of fully furnished and equipped accommodation, plus a 65m2 roof terrace with spectacular views over Apeiranthos, the valley, Zas Mountain and to the sea towards Moutsouna Bay; go and have lunch or dinner there at the fish tavernas and explore the small beaches up the scenic coastal road!

The house comes fully furnished and equipped, so you don't need to bring anything. All mattresses and pillows are brand new and the linen is all cotton. The wooden floors, original tiles and high ceilings make for a cosy and relaxing atmosphere. If you play classical guitar, then the acoustics here are magnificent. There is a Spanish guitar here for your use, professional snorkelling equipment and an olive wood chess board hand made in Athens, at your disposal.

The house is located at the other end of the pedestrianised part of the village (the less noisy part), which is about 2 minutes walk from the main car park and church and next to Aeriko Café
