"The White Hart, situated right next door to the cathedral, has been beautifully restored and has luxurious rooms with generously sized classic furniture and style. Spotlessly clean. Excellent and personal customer service. Our room directly overlooked the cathedral - the view was amazing - and was large and well equipped with a large, squishy sofa, fridge and DAB radio. Elemis toiletries were included in the large ensuite bathroom, as well as a full-size bath, with two overheard showers. Hotel parking is available very nearby at an additional charge, and there is a small lift in the hotel to transport luggage to upper floors, or for wheelchair use. The bar is well stocked and the three areas are very comfortable - we ate our meals in the bar as we had the dog with us. The dog was made very welcome by all staff. Cooked breakfast was a little slow in the mornings as most of the guests ate in the Antler Restaurant, but worth the wait as quality was superb. Location is perfect for the cathedral, castle and top of the hill shops. The main town centre shops are a walk down a steep hill. We loved the White Hart and Lincoln and look forward to visiting again soon, hopefully to the same room with the cathedral view."
