It was an incredible experience. The castle was exactly as pictured. So dramatic and so much history. This is a must do. It’s only an hour and a half outside of Barcelona and the rental car process was super easy. But you can also take a train.

Staying at hotel America was like staying in a Soviet era tower block in Moscow in the 1970s. My room was very cold and I had to request heating to be put on. Even with the extra (old and grubby) blanket I was cold all night. The room has probably not been updated since the building was constructed ...

Very simple yet small, nice place. Coffee juice and pastry for breakfast. Simple small room but everything worked. Great for one nice, maybe two. Wi-Fi went out in the morning. Good location.
