"I greatly enjoyed my time at the Residence for many reasons. Chawa picked me up from the airport. The fee to get into town was less than half the posted charge for taxis. Breakfast each day was both enormous and tasty. Dinner was likewise excellent. The bed was comfortable, which gave me long, deep sleeping. "The room was hot as sin, had a fan and aircon never worked. Spring bed, old linen & Towels, water brown, took 10 min to heat up, no pressure.
Breakfast on first morning terrible. Second morning much better.

"This little gem truly has everything you could need. I had to book a night unexpectedly due to a transportation emergency and I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was welcoming even on a last minute reservation, the restaurant and pool areas were relaxing and the food was fantastic. The room was spacious, clean and in order as well. Spanish omelette for breakfast was one of the best I have had anywhere. If you need a place to stay that is convenient, clean, safe and welcoming in Lilongwe, book this place ! "
