"My husband and I recently had a wonderful experience staying in Union Creek Resort while visiting Crater Lake and the surrounding area. Lodge room are clean, quaint and rustic in a beautiful setting. We had no issues with the shared bathrooms. Stayed two nights and never encountered another occupant. Love that its sets right near the creek. Could hear the sound of the rushing water in our room. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Room have no TV, internet and wifi is not the greatest. Would highly recommended, unless you can absolutely not live without TV or internet!! We would like to reserve a cabin the next time we visit."
"Hot water didn’t work but staff offered a different room, looked remodeled, but heater was not working. We stayed at the same room but used the second room for showers. Staff were nice to try to accommodate. "

"Another relaxing stay. I've stayed here multiple times and every time has been great. Quiet, cozy and great place to relax and get away right on the river. I will definitely return."

"The RIVER HAVEN was absolutely perfect! It was fully equipped, right on the river - and falling asleep to that perfect sound was just heaven!I cannot recommend it more highly, and thank the owners for making it available to all!"
"This is the fifth year we’ve stayed at this cabin. It’s cute, cozy, and makes you forget about the world. They have thought every little detail and it makes our stay so enjoyable. "
*Riverfront* "Cabin on The Rogue", Gateway to Crater Lake! Sleeps 2-4
8/10 Good
"The location is just beautiful. But no one said anything about the traffic noise which can be very loud, especially at night. We did not sleep well. The other thing that kept us up was small black flies that were inside the lamps beside the bed. They come alive at night and hop all over you. We couldnt sleep because they were crawling on us. I was swiping at them all night. We were there for 4 nights (and kept the doors closed). The mattress cover was torn with some stains and there was storage under the bed, which creeped me out. I prefer a clean open space under my bed. The best part is the outdoor area and wrap around patio. The views are breathtaking and we saw tons of wildlife. My husband fished daily and caught trout. He saw otters swim by which was a delight. The kitchen was nice. Washer/dryer was a plus but they ask you to wash the towels. I hate that. And I felt like the owner was pushy when she texted me the night before asking me what time we were checking out. When I am on vacation, I am looking for a mellow flow of events, without a stressed out text.I have to be honest. This is a beautiful spot but beware of the noise and the owner. The rest can be remedied. "
Cozy retreat on 3 acres near Lost Creek Lake. Pet Friendly
8/10 Good
"Cute country getaway. The location was great as we needed someplace between Prospect and Medford. I loved that there was plenty of parking outside and plenty of seating inside. The property had available seating for 15 people but pleanty of space for the extra chairs and we were able to served lunch for 30 people. There were also picnic tables outside and the grandkids had a great time playing in the sand/gravel pit.The older kids enjoyed the available games offered at the property, and there were several to choose from. We were able to setup Thanksgiving lunch with a smooth flowing kitchen, and thankgoodness there was a dishwasher. There were only two downsides. One getting in and out of the house was a challenge, because I am disabled, and two, although the bathroom is handicap accessible I couldn't use my walker in the restroom. Luckily the fit is so tight, I was able to hold onto the sink and the handicap handle in the shower to get to the toilet. The house was clean, but I rated cleanliness as a 3 because there were a lot of cobwebs in the livingroom, on the ceiling, in the lamps, and around the floor heater. We were able to sweep down and rehome the daddy long legs to the outside. ;)The host was amazing to work with and is really kind. I would definitely book this property again. "
