"The location was good, you can walk downtown and are close to shops and restaurants. I hesitated to leave negative feedback but I do feel others need to be aware of our situation so they can budget and plan accordingly. After booking we were told we had to pay a fee for our dogs.. I had added the pets during registration but when asked about it later the host said it's possible the system didn’t keep that information when the booking was finalized and payment was processed and that occasionally the platform can miss details like that..In the description it states, "Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees". We were charged a service fee, cleaning fee, and a fee for each dog. In the policies there is no mention of this either. The photos of the backyard are not representative of what it looks like now. No mulch, just dirt and overgrown shrubs. BBQ was dirty. When we arrived the cushions for the furniture were all stacked, the curtains in the kitchen were dirty, and there was no soap in showers and only one dirty roll of toilet paper. The host was responsive and said the crew would drop off items but they did not. He did offer to reimburse me for soap and tp if I submitted a receipt. The carpet needs to be replaced, it was dirty, dark and old. The extra fees were unexpected and so was arriving to a VRBO with one dirty roll of TP, no soap, and a neglected backyard. "

"parking was easy the room was very dirty, we went to Wal-Mart and bought sleeping bags so we wouldn't have to lie on dirty sheets the floor was so sticky my shoes stuck to it"

"Room was disgusting - the floor was sticky, there were cobwebs, parts of the floor were coming up, mirror was dirty, walls had visible dirty marks, there was a leftover syringe cap on floor. When I went to the front desk, they attendant said she could re clean it. At that point, i asked for a refund. I couldnt stay there with it being so gross."

"This is a beautiful hotel. The Grill has excellent food, although a little pricey. Great location to the college. "
