"We loved this hotel. The location was perfect for shops and restaurants, and close to bus stop 3 for excursion pick ups. The rooms were lovely with very comfortable beds and heated towel racks in the bathroom. The breakfast had a large variety of both hot and cold food options. The food was also clearly labeled so we were able to identify the vegan options for my husband. Staff were all very kind and knowledgeable. I highly recommend. "

"Fantastic location, unexpectedly large room, very clean, modernized bathroom, amenities available downstairs 24/7. Two extremely minor nitpicks: * The church next door rings bells frequently. The sound isolation in our room was ok, but we still heard them at night. Hotel did provide earplugs. * The TV was small and pretty barebones - only live TV and a "pay per view" app. You can connect other devices with an HDMI cable, but it's not as nice as being able to sign in to your own streaming apps."

"Hotel location is great, just two blocks away from the road that connects you to shops and restaurants. Within a 3-20 minute walk are plenty of restaurants, bars, shops. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and a great size for our family of four. "

"Hotel is in an excellent location, right in the heart of Reykjavik with great transport links and easily accessible. Staff on the front desk were warm and welcoming and catered to our needs. The room was clean and spacious, and we were on the 8th floor which had an amazing view over the city. Overall, we would definitely stay here again and would recommend to any family or friends that are visiting Reykjavik. "

"Our stay at Arnarhvoll was fantastic. Although we were invited to have breakfast and use the spa and rooftop bar facilities, we didn’t use them, so cannot comment. We were always out exploring Reykjavík but thankful to come back to a fab room with a big comfy bed, clean bathroom and the most amazing views of the Harbour, Harpa concert hall and across the bay to the awesome Esja mountains.
