Sonia (the host) was amazing. She was so accomodating and readily available to help with any questions or special requests. The apartment itself was great for an affordable price and the area felt safe and quiet. It's easy to get around, but if you decide to go by foot be prepared to get some exercise in, although it's a great way to also take in the scenary. Would stay here again. Thank you Sonia!

Walk to the beach on a budget

It was perfect for me because I like to walk and a beach and place to eat were within a few miles. Big plus - coffee in the apartment.

Good spot away from heavily visited tourist areas. If you dont have your own transportation, be prepared to walk or bus stop is a 5 min walk.Host was very helpful too.

Mr. & Mrs. Dorsett(the owner) are very responsive and amazing host.They even gave us the lists of everyday activities for the upcoming Bahamas 50th Independence Day.I forgot to check-out on time and they didn't charge me for that(sorry and thank you again).This place is close to everything and the people of Bahamas are so welcoming,friendly and should I say the nicest people on earth.I would definitely reccomend this apartment to everybody and don't think twice if you see this apartment coz this is the best place to stay in Nassau,Bahamas.Thank you again Sonia and to her husband.❤️

Not what we expected

Thread bare pillows, bars on the windows, traffic all night, no shampoo (did find some used ones under the bathroom sink), not a great neighborhood, didn't feel very safe. Price was way too high for what it is. LONG walk to town. It was connected to the owners house, like a garage turned into a room for rent. Will probably NOT book through Vrbo again because of this listing. taxi had hard time finding place and charged $60 to get there from airport. I applaud the owners for trying to make money but the price does not reflect the pictured expectations. I literally cried when we got there I was so disappointed and almost booked the next flight home.
