Nasons Corner Hotels, Portland

"The staff were great and the room was pretty, but unfortunately the building isn't well-constructed, so I could hear sounds through the doors, walls, and even floorboards (through the mattress). I definitely didn't love unnecessarily being charged a resort fee only to have money that I had to use on snacks and OTC drugs. I'd rather not have been charged the fee. I ordered ribs for takeaway, but they weren't very good. Despite the people really nice, they couldn't make up for the negative elements of the stay."

"A lovely and friendly hotel in the heart of Portland downtown. The room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. Watch out for Google maps, though. It shows the entrance on Market and Fore, whereas it really is on Milk St. The Armory Lounge is a lovely spot for a drink and has some good cocktails."

"We paid a little extra for a room with a Courtyard view. What we got was a 2nd floor room as far as possible from the elevator and when I pulled back the curtains I was looking at a giant kitchen exhaust fan that gave us a constant deep buzz in the room. The hotel did not seem busy and this room is literally the only Courtyard room with a giant exhaust stack only feet outside the window. Don't know why we were given literally the worst room available in that category. But I do know that I will avoid this group of hotels from now on. "

"There was no microwave in the room. They have 2 hot tubs and neither one was working properly (bubbling) and when I called the front desk for help they gave me an attitude which was disappointing. Not the worst hotel if on a budget but wouldn’t stay there again."

"I frequently stay at this property. It is a very clean property with kind and helpful staff and an excellent restaurant and spa. I was locked out of the next door parking garage and Dan (door man?) helped me get my car out. He ran out there in the freezing cold, called the garage mgmt and got me out. Dan deserves a raise."
