great spot
we had a wonderful times staying for a few nights this summer; my older children stayed upstairs where the couches and tvs are and my younger children and husband and I stayed downstairs; great backyard; they leave very night towels and beach chairs, boogie boards, wagon etc for use. The property manager called me to let me know the house would be ready early and to pop in and grab the 7 beaches passes provided. very thoughtful!

Wonderful Location!
We really enjoyed our stay! It had two good sized kitchens and bedrooms, a huge backyard, and within walking distance to the beach and some amazing restaurants! It was very clean and had everything we needed for a long weekend stay for 9 of us. It was a nice bonus that they included 7 Narragansett Town Beach passes for us to use! We would definitely stay here again!

Supreme location
A charming old house! The house was very clean and well stocked and worked well for aging siblings and adult kids in town for wedding. Really enjoyed coffee on the front sitting porch, saying hello to passerbys! The house is set up for 2 separate apartments so a few strange configurations, most importantly no living room on 1st floor, only large dining area. This was ok but not comfortable for evening family chat around. All in all still, a great stay!

Thank you for your feedback. Regarding the set-up of the house, although it is a 2-family, I open the house up as 1 big house for travelers. We have the 1st floor set up as the dining room in the common area and the 2nd floor set up as the living room in the common area. Sorry you were not able to take advantage of this set up, but nevertheless, glad you had a good time.

Memorial Day weekend

We have rented other beach houses in the past but this provided towels, bedding etc. which is a big help. The bedding clean and the towels were very nice and the beach towels were nicer than ours. The house was very clean and very comfortable for the ten of us.Thank you. I will definitely rent again for next year,

Family Vaca 2021
Post Covid - this was the first time we had all our kids and grandkids together for July 4th 🇺🇸which was also our oldest grandson’s 4 th birthday. Weather cooperated but could have brought a bit more sun for the week. Also they were building new sidewalks so that was noisy , no parking in driveway for 3 days. Also woken at 7 to move cars on the road. 🤷🏼‍♀️ The house slept the numbers since we overlapped the families. High points : Great location Could walk to beach , shops, coffee and restaurants. Outdoor area spacious with privacy. Fully equipped kitchen with two refrigerators for food and drink. Few down points - not all beds comfortable. A/C only filled space with all bedroom doors open so less privacy. Overall a great place to vacation. 😎

It was the worse trip I ever went on and a huge waste of money and time
There was construction there she never told us about! 7am-5pm every single day!! We hated every minute and the realtor new about this. I called the chamber of commerce and the town and they all verified that the realtor new, and not a word was said to us because we would not have come! This was our reuniting after a horrific year of Covid and it ended with a horrific vacation and way to much money spent. There were ants all over and ant tabs left on the window sill for little ones to get. We couldn’t get in or out of our driveway or street at times because it was shut down because of construction. We even left early to get out of there. I will never use vrbo again or go back there. Vacation from hell.

Our honest response to this horrific review is that we had no idea there would have been construction in the vicinity during your stay. We were never notified by the town that the sidewalks on the street would be constructed. We apologize for this issue.

Amazing Stay!
This property was everything we could've asked for and more! There was a group of 8 of us for a weekend get away and it was perfect. Each room was beautiful with cute beachy decor. The property itself is absolutely perfect for a group getaway. The backyard is huge and nicely enclosed which was great for yard games and grilling/hanging out. The two kitchens were awesome for storing food and beverages. The house was a quick 14 min walk to Narragansett beach and super close to delicious local restaurants. The host was also responsive and very accommodating when some clothing items were left behind. We will absolutely be booking this property again!

I have rented many homes for vacation but this property was amazing in Newport This is by far my favorite! The house, the amenities and location convenient only 5 minutes walked to the beach. Robin is a wonderful host and easy to talk, thank you, Robin!

Bachelorette Party
Very easy house to find and the house was perfect for the one night stay for the bachelorette. House was very accommodating and having 4 bathrooms was amazing for 11 women staying the night! Definitely will keep this house in mind for future stays!

Great place for a family vacation
The house and location were ideal for us. We loved being able to walk to the water to watch the sunrise. The back yard was a great place to play yard games or watch the grandchildren run around enjoying themselves, and we all liked gathering on the front porch at the end of the day.

Great location!
Very happy with our stay. A beautiful spacious house with rustic wood flooring throughout. Plenty of space and accommodations for 10+ people and a big backyard perfect for games and just hanging out. Plus it is walking distance to restaurants, shops, and Narragansett Town Beach. The house was very clean and smelled great upon our initial check in and arrival. Highly recommended. And thanks to Robin who was always available and quick to answer our questions .

Awesome getaway!
The location of the house is only a block and a half to the seawall. The yard was perfect for football and badminton. We all had plenty of space to sleep. The curtains let in a ton of morning light, so room darkeners would have been helpful. The kitchen was well supplied with pots and pans, plates and silverware. We ate outside most every night. Such a great break from our routines at home. Thank you!

Overall this was a nice property. The beds were okay, but were squeeky and the mattress toppers were not effective. The central air was not efficient as the ductless units cannot effectively cool the number of rooms required. As a result if you sat in the common areas you were subjected to frigid cold air blowing on you. That being said the location of this home is great! Within walking distance to beach, dining and shopping. The only other comment I would make is that the patio was nice as long as you didn't sit under the trees where all the birds had defecated on the chairs and tables. Not sanitary for the two children we had running around the yard.

GREAT PLACE FOR FAMILY GET-TOGETHER
We had my annual family vacation at 30 Rodman Street this year. There were 8 adults and 2 children. There was plenty of space for all. The 2 sets of washers and dryers were especially convenient. We liked the 2 tables for outside dining. It's a very nice place, and Naragensett Beach is first-class.

Can’t Beat It
You can’t beat this house. Easily sleep 12 comfortably, in walking distance to beach and Coast Guard House, and it is very clean. Awesome backyard for games or grilling, 2 kitchens, just and ideal beach house

Peaceful and relaxing
The house was clean and ready to go. Plenty of room for everyone. Back yard had chairs and table, plenty of room to play. No noise from neighbors, short walk to the ocean. I could not have asked for more. I would rent again in a heart beat!!!!!

Great house in a great location
The house was exactly what we needed - a large centrally located house for us to stay and to function as a home base for family and friends in town for an event. The house is well stocked with beach toys and chairs and has two kitchens with all the pots, pans and utensils a family might need.

Comfortable and spacious
This is the second year we've rented this cottage for our family of 8 adults and 4 children. It is well equipped for cooking in or grilling and it's wonderful to have the washers and dryers. It has plenty of room and the back yard is a great place for the kids to play. The outdoor shower has hot water and makes it convenient when coming back from the beach. There are good places to eat within walking distance. The beach is a little far to walk with little ones and the cost of parking and admission for adults makes it expensive for a weeks stay. That would be the only complaint I have for the area. Other than that, we have enjoyed our stay on Rodman St.

Perfect for a large family!
Our family had a wonderful time this past week at this cottage. Eight adults and four children under 5 had plenty of room to play and relax. Loved sitting on the front porch reading and relaxing. It had all of the amenities that we needed with 2 fully functional kitchens, washer and dryer, comfortable beds and air conditioning! Everything you need for a beach vacation is at the cottage from sand chairs and umbrellas to beach toys and a rolling cart, and cooler. The back yard is big enough for a game of wiffle ball and it has a wonderful patio, grill, and plenty of seating for outdoor eating. We also were able to fill a portable pool we had brought for the little ones on one of the days we chose not to go to the beach. We all enjoyed being able to walk to restaurants and shops and a playground for the kids on the days it wasn't beach weather. This is a wonderful cottage in a beautiful spot and my family all said they would like to come back next year. My only caution to people with young children is that it is a rather long walk for them to get to the beach. We had to drive and the parking is $10 per car with an $8 charge for adults to enter the beach. Having said that, the beach is beautiful and clean and well worth the cost.

Perfectly located home, ideal for large groups
This 6 bedroom, 4 bath house was just what we were looking for. Two families needed a place to stay for a Newport wedding, and we hit the jackpot at 30 Rodman St. It was so nice to have everyone together under one roof. The location is ideal - walking distance to the water, restaurants, shopping, even a brand new bagel shop. The house was nicely furnished and the owner was very accommodating with some special requests. We loved the large patio table and yard to gather and enjoy. There was even a basket of toys to play with (and we contributed several whiffle balls to the collection!). The adirondack chairs on the front porch were so welcoming and made for a great place to hang out. A couple of suggestions would be to install either shades or room-darkening curtains in the 2 east bedrooms, and to replace one of the shower stalls with a tub. The showers were quite tight, and parents of young ones would appreciate a tub I'm sure. Overall, it was a wonderful house for us. The real estate agent, Robin, was amazing, as well! She was so easy to work with and communicate with. Replied to emails even on the weekends. Thank you for suggesting this house, Robin!
