"Really enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn, in Front Royal. My wife and I took a trip to do a hiking weekend in Shenandoah National Park. With the hotel being close to the park, as well as just outside a relatively large town, so we'd have stuff to do in the evenings, the location was great. The room was very comfortable, and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Everything was clean, and they had a great breakfast (which opened early...key for getting a really early start to the day before we hit the trails) The only downside was, we did pick the hotel based off all those factors, but as well as it having an indoor pool. After a day hiking up and down Old Rag, a late afternoon in the pool to decompress and recover was going to be what we needed...unfortunately we did not find out until after we arrived, the pool was out of service. So that was a little disappointing, but we made the best of it."

"The view from cliffside cabin is amazing. We used both the indoor and outdoor fire places during our stay. Plenty of firewood provided by the property owner.Overall, a great experience! We will be returning for another stay."

"The room itself was clean, beds were comfortable and bathroom including shower were large. Had refrigerator, microwave, iron board & iron, but no coffee maker. Washing machines were new if your an extended stay guest. Staff was fantastic, very helpful, accommodating to requests and friendly. Breakfast service was as expected. Unfortunately the exterior property needs maintenance and 2nd floors don’t have elevators, but corridors and rooms are good. More than enough parking. Is a good value stay."

"We had a small family wedding of 38 people at Wally and Pats property.It was perfect. We had the ability to do all the shopping so close by, as well and take out and last minute wedding needs.Tables were set up in a horse shoe under tree. We swam, played, loved sitting under gazebo at night.Wally was helpful with each detail including running over to help a groomsmen with wire cutters to get the security tag off his suit.We had so much fun! Thank you Wally!!!"

"Overall beautiful cabin with amazing views ,however there was the following,issues that should have been addressed with the price l had to pay, A bad mouse issue ,trees should have been trimmed back in the driveway it was terrible trying to back up into the driveway,the upstairs toilet was leaking had to fix it, the pool was to cold and not working and full of leaves , the jets are not working on the left side of the hot tub , but enjoyed the peaceful quiet getaway"
