Absolutely lovely studio with a charming private outdoor space situated in a quiet, established neighborhood. The owners were delightful. Highly recommend!!
We loved our time at the Carriage House, the location was perfect and the indoor & outdoor spaces were great. We loved all the suggestions from the host and for helping with the reservations at the wine club places. Highly recommend! Thank you!
Very quaint with all the necessary amenities, including a hot tub. Clean and as pictured on listing. Easy check in and very communicative host. Also in a perfect location. Would definitely stay again if in the area and highly recommend!
First visit to napa. Stayed 3 nights. Really nice unit - clean, welcoming and in a safe area. Loved the courtyard with the hot tub and bikes, though it was too cold to really enjoy much. Excellent central location, 2-3 minutes to the Napa restaurants and lots of free parking. Host was excellent, responded quickly and even made sure an appliance I inquired about was added to the unit. The only things that could be improved is a little better heating (though not sure it's worth the expense as its rare its needed). I was sooo cold - had to ask for another blanket. And some instructions for the hot tub. I may have missed the instructions though?? I would definitely stay again! Thank you :)
This studio was perfect for our needs. It was within walking distance of Oxbow Market and included a private courtyard. The courtyard came in handy between tastings. It was a shady spot to hang out with our friends. The studio itself is small but has a full refrigerator and a gas stove top. We found it too small for just hanging out indoors but we weren't there to hang out indoors so it wasn't an issue. We would definitely reserve it again for a return trip.
Was everything stated as advertised, Sonya and Luis were extremely accommodating, very informative about places we should visit! Will definitely be back for a longer visit.Thank you again Sonya and Luis
Fabulous getaway in a quiet and quaint neighborhood located walking distance from delicious restaurants. Sonia was extremely responsive to emails and provided wonderful suggestions during my planning process! Hot tub, fire table, and charming outdoor space provided a lovely place to relax after a day at the wineries.
The location was amazing just 5 minutes to all the restaurants, tasting rooms and shopping in downtown NAPA. There are also several supermarkets close by including Whole Foods and Trader Joes. We spent a bit of time in St. Helena and Yountville which was only about 20-25 minutes away. The carriage had everything we needed including coffee and creamer (ahh). The patio and hot tub looked very inviting however, we were really to busy to enjoy them. Communication was great and the code to check in worked great since we arrived late our first day. Overall a great location and hosts.
We had a very nice 3-night stay. The property is conveniently located within a mile of downtown Napa, making it an easy and pleasant walk to shops, restaurants, and tasting rooms. The space was well-equipped and thoughtfully laid out, making great use of its size and location. It met all our needs for a comfortable stay. While we didn’t end up using the outdoor space, it’s worth noting that it’s quite close to the main house and didn’t feel fully private. Additionally, we found the bed to be a bit uncomfortable.Overall, a solid stay in a great location with everything we needed!
10/10! One of the best bnb/vrbo stays I’ve ever had. Great location for going out and exploring Napa Valley and Sonoma. Location made it easy to get to downtown Napa. Our hosts were very responsive to all our questions we had before we even got to Napa. I appreciate how quickly they responded to us. An added bonus was being able to use their wine club benefits at some of the wineries. Great wine recommendations and I’m glad we went to a few of them. The space was private and relaxing. The Vrbo had everything you needed to make your stay enjoyable. The hot tub was nice after a day of wine tasting. If you are considering staying in Napa, I highly recommend booking. When my wife and I return to Napa in the future, we will be looking up the Napa Carriage House for our stay!
We loved our stay. The location was perfect for all of our planned wine tastings in Napa and Sonoma. The hosts were kind and accommodating making last minute reservations for us when we arrived a little earlier than we planned. The outdoor area totally made this stay an oasis for us and we enjoyed a glass of wine (or two!), music and the jacuzzi. The only down side for me, was the kitchen. Specifically the sink, I like to cook - which is one of the reasons we enjoy VRBO when vacationing. The sink is smaller than our first RV sink, more like a bar style sink - no way could you wash a pan or pot. Which meant no cooking for us -ie making a salad proved tricky with no large bowls or way to wash a large bowl. We ended up buying disposable meals with containers from Whole Foods - nearby - or ordering take out - which was fine since it was a short stay. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet. It was a great experience!
The property was nicely decorated with all of the amenities needed for a stay. Some snacks were provided, as well as a bottle of wine as a welcome gift. We felt safe and secure in the area. The host communication was excellent and they offered several free tastings at wine rooms in town, a nice touch. We stayed for a week, which for me was a bit too long in this small of a space. It also felt very humid in the space; the towels never seemed to get dry between uses. Again, not a big deal for some people but a small annoyance to me. The only lounging/seating area was in the area described as the courtyard and was literally next to what I assume was the side of the host's home. Although we never saw them, it just seemed awkward to me. The property was well within walking distance to downtown Napa restaurants and to BottleRock grounds which was a big bonus. Overall a very nice stay, just a little too close for comfort for me.
