"I wasn't sure if i got bit by the bed bugs or it was the mosquitoes from outside of the hotel in the city. I got bite every time i was there. Great breakfast buffet though. "

"This was a very nice place to stay for one night while passing through Taichung on my way to Sun Moon Lake. It's an older bullding, but very well renovated. My room was huge by Taiwan standards with a comfortable bed and clean private bathroom. The hotel offers some free snacks with your stay and some discounts for the cocktail making machine in the lobby. It was a nice touch. The area is convenient for the train station, albeit a little seedy - but that is the general vibe in Taichung."

"The property did not explain that this place has no windows. It feels like going to a basement with spa amenities. There is a constant ventilation noise to minimize the musty smell. Furnishings looks ok."

"Beautiful property just minutes from Taichung Railway station. Room was well furnished and staff were welcoming. They have a free laundry room for guests which is really handy. Right across from Miyahara for all your ice-cream and dessert needs. Plenty of food options within a walking distance."
