"The house is massive and super cute! Lots of space to sleep and hang out. Full kitchen (cutest tiniest oven ever), and free washer/dryer with soap provided. Bathtub has an automatic heating feature which was super cool coming from a Canadian who has never seen this before. Super close to the ferry port. "Right next door to the Imabari station and the Shimanami Kiado bicycle rental this hotel was perfect after a long hot ride. We were able to return our bikes and head straight to the hotel. We were lucky enough to be allowed to checkin 15 minutes early and our room was standard Japanese size. I accidentally booked a twin room instead of a double but there was enough room for our one night. The hotel offers free drinks from 7pm-9pm. There is a selection of spirits, sake, liquor and soft drink. This was appreciated and we met some other hotel guests over drinks. But what really set this hotel apart from other hotels we have stayed in was the hotel staff and customer service. I really enjoyed the lemon liquor and the staff member went out of her way to give me some places I might be able to get it from. Just before heading up for the night I asked about the bus to Hiroshima. I was given the information and headed up stairs. About 30mins later the hotel staff knocked on our door to advise the early bus was already booked up and the next one was booking up fast. I didn’t realise you booked your ticket in advance and thought you got it at the bus. The hotel staff spent a considerable amount of time helping us book tickets so we could make it to our next destination. This service is what sets hotels apart. I don't remember her name as it was in Japanese but I hope this gets seen and she gets recognised for her customer service."
