"Cosy and lovely guesthouse in Okinawa. The hosts were very kind and welcoming and played some music for us to enjoy. There were also maps and lots of things available to do - it is a shame it rained for most of the trip. I would definitely come back to stay again!"

"I wonder why no one left reviews, this is the best hotel during my trip in Okinawa, this hotel (technically, it's not a hotel, there's only one suite :P), the host is very friendly, she even took care of my car when we left car window open, I didnt know how long she waited, I feel so sorry about that...
The room is super clean, the host even provided some local cookies and coffees, 2 bottles of jasmine tea, and 4 bottles of water! The outdoor bathtub the balcony, the view (and very close to...

"Very new and super clean hotel. The staff were all nice and welcoming. Our twin rooms were very large and comfortable!
You are allowed to visit the adjacent convenience store and the public bath in the provided lounge wear. We had Agu pork Shabu Shabu for dinner and it was fantastic.
Overall my family and I were very satisfied with this hotel! "

"The villa is super nice and close to some nearby restaurants and beaches. Everything was extremely clean and the host really went out of their way to provide supplies (e.g. spa kits, tons of towels, bug spray).
You'll definitely need to rent a car to get to the property though.
My wife and I had a great time!"

"This is an excellent hotel in Okinawa. Amazing staff, extremely polite and helpful. Plenty of activities for the family. Great buffet breakfast, must try.
You won't regret staying here"
"I am American and my beach vacations are usually to Mexico. Please keep that in mind when reading my review as that is what I will compare most of it to. I am spoiled. If you are familiar with that type of resort, this will dissapoint you.
1. If you are expecting something nice and modern you will not get that here. This hotel is very outdated. The service is on par for a nicer hotel. The staff was 4/5, Actual hotel probably 2/5. The AC is very weak and Okinawa is hot and humid. The first night we were sweating and had to call for a fan. We left the ac running the next day and it was much more comfortable. Also the parking lot is far from the hotel. They do have a shuttle though.
2. The beach was fantastic. The water here is some of the best I've seen. Bahamas level or better. There are still some fish in the swimming area even though its netted off.
3. Expensive! This hotel was the most expensive of our entire Japan trip and probably the worst. Not only was the stay expensive but everything you wanted to do there cost extra and there was a huge mark up on drinks. I got used to paying under 500 yen for a beer in the mainland but here it was 1000 for one beer. Even 990 for a cola! I got used to Japan prices for the previous 10 days and then got sticker shock when I had to pay America type prices.
I would not stay here again. Would just pay to use beach"
"My family and I had a great time.
Hotel room was nice, breakfast was good. Breakfast could use more western variety.
Pools were good and location was good."
"This is a one-of-a-kind property with villa-style apartments and a near-private infinity pool space with stunning views of the rocky islands and sea. Just based on this, we must recommend it. If you're willing to drive out to the somewhat remote Kouri Island, this place has plenty of guest parking--relying on other transportation will not be practical here. Get food from supermarkets in the neighbouring town of Nakijin. The pools aren't really heated for immediate relaxation, but there's a private hot tub on the patio.
That said, it does have some issues. Kouri Island is VERY rural and tropical bugs are everywhere outside; that's just nature. Some of them will get into the room and some check-in bug hunting is normal. They even supply a vacuum cleaner for this. What could be better, however, is the condition of the units. Ours had various maintenance issues: multiple peeling wall areas, a slanted desk that didn't look safe to use, a missing closet door, a damaged toilet/bidet controller, and a persistent ant problem likely caused by prior guests + meh floor cleanliness + big floor-to-wall gaps. The mobile web portal didn't seem to have an area to report these problems and the lobby is totally computerised and thus unstaffed.
Overall still a great and unique experience in Okinawa--just be prepared to put in some work to really be able to enjoy it, and try to stay several nights to make that work worthwhile. And be meticulous with bagging your food waste!"
