"Staying at La Terra Resort was an absolute dream. Learning about his colorful background and how La Terra came to be added such a personal and inspiring layer to our stay. He is a man of many talents, and if you’re lucky enough to meet him during your visit, don’t miss the chance to ask about the antiques on the property—each piece holds so much history and culture. Adding to the charm are the lovely dogs who are very much part of the family at La Terra. Their gentle presence made the property feel even warmer and more like home. "I loved the Onsen especially the outdoor Onsen with stone sides (on top floor and well fenced). The laundry worked well. Breakfast was excellent although the breakfast room is a bit cramped. Room was large by Japanese standards and comfortable. The free treats and bedtime noodles are great. Overall a lovely stay. "

"The room size for 2 was adequate, but not much extra space for suitcase storage. The hotel location is close to a main road with lots of dining options, but if you don't have a car to drive, the location is a 15 minute walk to the nearest train station. The buffet breakfast wasn't something I signed up for when making the reservation, but for some reason, for the two nights we stayed there, the buffet was "sold out", so breakfast was unavailable. Otherwise it was a nice stay, and the staff kindly let us check in a little early when we arrived ahead of schedule."
