Great stay for the price! Staff were really helpful, room was clean and tidy. The rooftop eating area was really scenic! Location is close to Thamel but away from the noise

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Hotel is very clean and located along a more quite street. The airport transportation isn't included. You need to pay the taxi. No exercise room, but the do have rooftop yoga every day. Make sure you select the breakfast option, otherwise breakfast is extra.
Overall, i would gladly stay here again.

Everything at Hotel Shanker is truly great. I really feel at home in this beautiful hotel. The staff are magnificent and everyone is so friendly and helpful. The architecture of this old historical palace is stunning. The entrance and lobby is so beautiful and great for photos. The garden in front is wonderful and the pool is terrific. I highly recommend staying at Hotel Shanker. It’s the only place I stay when visiting Kathmandu. I’m already looking forward to a return visit!! Thank you Hotel Shanker for treating me so well and giving me such great memories and photos!!
