They seemed friendly enough when I 1st checked in. But didn't end well.
Weird noises through night. Doors close loudly. Aircon doesn't run very loudly, not enough white noise. Can hear some planes too. Intermittent noises are hard to sleep through.
Rooms have sparse amenities. Stock w/ only ONE very small roll of toilet paper at a time. Goes quickly.
Trash wasn't taken out my 2nd day when they cleaned; there was food in it, so ants were all over bathroom.
Here is extent of my big problem--after 1st night, I left aircon remote on bed next to my bag, clothes. Left room with aircon on, so I called and said, "If you're okay turning off, the remote is on the bed."
When I returned, remote was gone. They had pulled all my stuff off bed, made bed, put it all back. But remote gone. So it was a fight the next two nights to get them to turn aircon on (they charge xtra for aircon rooms).
Morning I checked out, my tour bus called hotel to confirm pickup time of 8:30. So staff wanted to come look for remote while I was packing saying, "You said you took remote with you." But it had been on bed.
Right before 8:30, accused me of stealing remote. They called police, locked gate, keeping myself and my tour bus locked on property for me to pay $75 for remote.
There were multiple words I told them they misinterpreted throughout my stay.
I had some unsettling feelings before I came & upon 1st checking in. I almost left after 1 day, should have gone w/ my gut.
