"I cannot say how awful this place was. We were ripped off so bad. Expedia charged us and then the owner Esa charged us as well and an extra $500USD that’s for a room with no electricity no WiFi terrible food it was so bad after two days we moved next door along with 6 others to Korovu “resort” and Arieta was so kind and helped us settle in and didn’t charge us as much because we were ripped off by her family next door. "This resort is well set up, the staff are so accommodating , the food was amazing, the reef was full of fish and I even saw an Octopus . They also just opened a brand new Weightroom which was very well equipped . There is nothing bad we can saw about this resort . You can see the sunset from your dining room table !"

"Had a wonderful time in Korovou eco resort. The staff, especially Aboo (sp?) were wonderful. Really enjoyed the medical talk and coconut demonstrations Aboo provided. The seaview bungalow was rustic, but had everything you needed, except cold showers. It didnt bother us as after a cool snorkel we just rinsed off, but others that didnt snorkel were dreading their daily cold showers. The view from our room was stunning, and for the price I think its the best place I've ever stayed! The food was really great for the first 2 days, except on the last night they served us fish even though we were vegan. The next day the food wasnt as good (maybe the chef changed). That was probably the only negative experience during our 3 day stay, The snorkelling off the beach was great - lotsa colourful coral and fish. Walked over the ridge to the other homestay and the snorkelling there had huge impressive coral (so highly recommended). We brought our own snorkelling gear as I think they charged 10 per day. Loved playing beach volleyball with all the Fijian locals (who are all really good). Highly recommend staying here, as so relaxing, great value for money, nice staff, and you will meet nice like-minded other guests. Just a reminder this is not a 5 star resort with all the luxuries resort with 5 star prices. So dont book this place if you are super fussy, but if you want a local experience, right on the beach with peace and quiet and good food then this is your place!"

Nanuya Island Resort

"The staff were so lovely, welcoming and always happy to help with anything we needed. Activities ran throughout the day, every day, so there was always something to get involved in. We enjoyed our cave trip, scuba diving and snorkelling. We stayed in a beautiful treetop bure. Keep in mind that the bures aren’t particularly modern, if you’re looking for something like that. The food was great, with a different menu every day to choose from. The staff were always available and made the whole experience really easy and enjoyable. Wi-Fi is only available in the main area and doesn’t reach the rooms, which wasn’t a problem for us but is worth knowing beforehand. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere, activities and amazing experiences on offer"

"This resort is a must if you travel to Fiji. We visited 2 years ago and knew we wanted to return. The staff is our Fiji family. Each individual cottage is so well built and maintained. Manassas and his wife Wati are the original builders and both still stay active at the resort. I encourage travelers to not just stay on the main island, but discover the surrounding islands."
