Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to go to Načetín?
The best time to go to Načetín is during the summer months, from June to August, when the weather is at its warmest and most pleasant for outdoor activities.

During this period, you can expect average temperatures ranging from 18°C to 25°C, making it ideal for exploring the surrounding Ore Mountains (Krušné hory). The longer daylight hours also allow for extended hikes, cycling trips, and enjoying the natural beauty of the region.

Couples looking for an active holiday will find this time particularly appealing. The well-maintained hiking trails, like those leading to the Jeřabina lookout tower, are easily accessible, and the mild weather makes for comfortable exploration. Many local eateries and guesthouses are fully operational, offering traditional Czech cuisine and hospitality.

For solo travellers seeking a peaceful retreat, late spring (May) or early autumn (September) also offer a wonderful experience. The weather is still mild, and the landscapes are beautiful with fewer crowds.
