Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Na Not?
The best area to stay in Na Not is around the town centre, particularly near the Na Not Canal, for its convenient access to local life and attractions.

This central area offers a pleasant mix of local shops, eateries, and guesthouses, providing a good base for exploring. The Na Not Canal, a prominent feature, runs through the town and offers opportunities for boat trips and viewing traditional stilt houses. The main market is also located here, which is great for experiencing local culture and sampling regional cuisine.

Couples looking for a relaxing and authentic experience will find this area particularly appealing. You're well-placed to enjoy strolls along the canal, discover local craft shops, and dine at small, family-run restaurants.
When is the best time to go to Na Not?
The best time to visit Na Not is during the dry season, which typically runs from November to April.

During these months, you'll experience sunny days and lower humidity, making it ideal for exploring the natural beauty of the region. The weather is generally pleasant for outdoor activities like visiting the Phraiwan Waterfall or exploring the Thale Noi Waterfowl Park.

The rainy season, from May to October, brings heavier rainfall and higher humidity. While the landscapes are lush during this period, some outdoor activities might be affected by the weather. However, if you don't mind occasional downpours, you might find fewer crowds and potentially lower prices for accommodation and activities.
