The house and the property made our week in beautiful Montana that much more special and memorable. Clean, comfortable, spacious, well-appointed and a view that is hard to beat. Highly recommend.
This spot was both luxurious and family friendly. They incorporated a lot of safety features that we appreciated, like a latched gate preventing small children from heading down to the lake unsupervised. The dock also creates a wonderful wading area for small kids. Top notch location, view, water, amenities. We will be back!
We had an incredible and peaceful stay at this beautiful house. It was large enough to accommodate 10 of us comfortably. The kitchen was great for cooking large meals with lots of bowls, pans, and tools. We spent a ton of time on the patios with morning coffee and gorgeous lake views. The dock was very solid made kayaking and jet skiing a breeze! I would totally recommend this place to anyone who wants a fun and relaxing time on the lake!
This property is beautiful and the home is very warm and inviting. While our visit was in early October, I can imagine a summer week at this lakefront home. The views were awesome and many rooms accessed the large deck. The beds gave an authentic Montana feel. There was plenty of space for everyone and we appreciated having the grill for cooking out. We drove around the lake and found some good restaurants as well. I highly recommend kayaking out to Wild Horse Island.
Communication between us and the host could've been better. We wanted to inform them of lights that were not working but no one replied or came by to check it out.
We loved the beauty and tranquility of this home right on the lake. Amazing views and sunsets, and ready access to the water. We enjoyed playing family games on one of the many decks, and swimming and paddleboarding right from the house. The home is well-appointed and spacious, but we encountered quite a bit of deferred maintenance (clothes washer not working properly, many lightbulbs out throughout the house, some loose flagstones on the back steps, missing shades in the master bedroom, a ripped screen door on the lower floor.) While we brought most of this to the attention of the property manager and they did change the lightbulbs, we expected more polish and care taken for a house in this price range. Another disappointment was that the property managers did not willingly provide the proper supplies for our 9 night stay! We had to plead for extra toilet paper, dishwashing soap and laundry soap, and ask for more bath towels as they provided very few. This is not the kind of hospitality one expects for a luxury home rental.
Our family sincerely appreciated the time we got to spend in your home! The view and amenities at the lake were wonderful.
The house was very comfortable, and the Living, Dining and Kitchen were beautifully appointed and lent themselves to a great family gathering.
The decks, immediate landscaping and trail down to the lake were beautiful and for the most part well maintained.
The following suggestions are only because the cost of rental was rather high as well as the cleaning fee.
1. Having a modest welcome basket with some local items (coffee, tea, cheese etc.) would further enhance the experience.
2 A notebook that provides instruction for operating systems in the house would be helpful. The online instructions are in my opinion, insufficient.
3. We had some difficulty with window treatments, which required unplugging the decorative lights around the lower deck guardrail.
4. The windows on the main had handprints and the door off of the kitchen had what appear to be animal nose prints, etc.
5. The sheets in the Master Bed were rough. Perhaps it is time to change these out.
6. The bushes adjacent to the narrow path leading down to the dock could use a trimming.
7. The door to the Master Suite as well as the door leading from the Dining Room to the north outside deck were difficult to operate.
8. Having an additional hour arriving and leaving would be nice.
Overall, great house and beautiful setting.
This is a stunning house with a beautiful view right on the lake. It has a kitchen open to the living area with views through to the lake so the cook is incorporated into the social gathering. The kitchen is wonderfully appointed for cooking for a good-sized family gathering. It also has multiple outside seating areas, including a wonderful deck wrapping along the back of the house looking over the lake. We highly recommend.
Amazing property right in the water. A few technical issues, unfortunately (AC and fridge issues), but we appreciate how quickly the team acted on and fixed the issues. Bigfork is charming.
This property was perfect for some relaxing time with family. It was well equipped and very comfortable. The views and garden were beautiful. One of the best properties we have rented. Highly recommend.
