"STAY AWAY... It is just a house run by a women. They have no services what so ever. They don't even clean your villa. I had to request so many times to have my villa cleaned and they sent someone who did a very basic job without putting any toiliteries or towels. Linens were never changed and I stayed there for 5 nights. By the way, staff is also very grumpy. my advise is that choose a different property if you want your holiday to be enjoyable."

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Mzet'Amze?
The best area to stay in Mzet'Amze is the central district, particularly around Freedom Square and Rustaveli Avenue.

This area is the heart of Mzet'Amze, bustling with activity and offering a premium experience. Freedom Square is a major landmark, often featuring impressive monuments, and Rustaveli Avenue is the city's main thoroughfare, lined with grand buildings, theatres, and upscale boutiques. It's a very walkable area with excellent public transport links, making it easy to explore the wider city.

For couples seeking a refined and convenient stay, this central district is ideal. You'll find a selection of high-end hotels, many with breathtaking views of the city or surrounding mountains. Evenings can be spent enjoying gourmet dining, attending a performance at a nearby theatre, or simply strolling along the illuminated avenues. Many hotels here also boast excellent facilities, including luxurious spas and high-end fitness equipment.

Solo travellers who appreciate quality and convenience will also find this area perfect. The concentration of amenities, from fine dining to cultural institutions, means everything is within easy reach.
When is the best time to go to Mzet'Amze?
The best time to visit Mzet'Amze is during the late spring (May to early June) and early autumn (September to early October) when the weather is mild and pleasant for exploring.

During these periods, the temperatures are comfortable, typically ranging from 15°C to 25°C, making it ideal for outdoor activities like hiking in the Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park or exploring the ancient cave city of Vardzia. You'll find fewer crowds compared to the peak summer months, allowing for a more relaxed and enjoyable experience at popular sites.

For those interested in wine tasting, early autumn is particularly good as it coincides with the grape harvest season in the nearby regions, offering opportunities to experience local traditions and fresh produce. The landscapes are also beautiful during these times, with lush greenery in spring and rich, autumnal colours in September and October.

While summer (July-August) can be warm, with temperatures sometimes reaching over 30°C, it's still a popular time for visitors, especially families looking to enjoy the longer daylight hours.
