Didn’t even stay the nights we booked. Area was sketchy and the hotels around it had music blaring and college kids on the balconies. Area was dodgy at best.

I told housekeeping and the front desk about a pill sitting to the right of our doorway inside of our room Swept and God knows how long. Then this is upon check-in. Before check-in, we was told that the room we selected had been freshly remodeled and that was a lie. I would have to pay 30 extra dollars to the front desk to get a renovated room. Not the end of the world and I’m not a complainer we go to take a shower and go to bed, there’s a big wad of black hair in the towels Strawberry blonde hair Definitely not mine. I will be glad to post pictures of everything, including the drink machine on the first floor that never worked. Or. No one coming to get that pill or clean Nor give us any fresh towels, we left this morning the towel with the big black hair still sitting in the same spot. It was when we got there. Did I forget to mention a half empty bottle of shampoo left in the bathroom and only one bottle of shampoo with two rooms it’s crazy. I had to go to the front desk and instead of apologize and her saying anything they give me four new bottles will never stay there again.

First I want to sa how absolutely friendly all the staff was! From check in to check out, all of the employees we're friendly and happy! The hotel lobby was nice and clean and has cute decor. The room wasn't super clean, as it had stains in places on the furniture and lamp shades. It wasn't horrible though. There is only one elevator for the building, so be prepared to wait while going down. Up never took too long. Overall I had no complaints and would definitely stay there again. The pizzeria on the property had delicious wings, but I wouldn't recommend the chips and salsa. The chips were really stale.

Pools and location to the beach was great Staff was a little unattentive and it wasnt busy so no excuse. I went down to get coffee and the desk person was talking on the phone, private conversation not business. She asked me to push the button cause she forgot to on the coffee maker. Then i had to wait 10 minutes for the pot to brew. Again the place was not busy. We were only one of just a few rooms in use

As always, booking through Expedia was so easy. I found Tropical Seas at the last minute as I was in route with my teenage daughter for a 3 night stay at Myrtle Beach (Wed. - Sat.) to wrap up her Spring Break. The resort checked every box and it was budget friendly. I wanted an oceanfront view that was centrally located and got exactly that. I felt safe when we arrived at midnight and throughout my stay. Overflow parking was directly across the street with plenty of space. Check-in was painless and the staff was extremely welcoming. The room appeared clean and was a decent size with 2 Queen beds and a kitchenette. There was no internet access in my room the first day. I had an upcoming Teams call so I made a complaint with the receptionist who was so pleasant. The issue wasn’t resolved timely enough for me so I drove to Starbucks to work until noon. While the WiFi issue, wasn’t resolved until Friday, the resort made every attempt to troubleshoot and put me in contact with the 3rd party responsible for the internet. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay. I asked for a lot and this resort delivered.

The hotel is in poor condition, the walls that are supposed to be white are brown and worn, the room has a lot of dust, the appliances are old and worn as well. The smell is not good. Very noise you can hear everything. The doors are like falling you have to push to open. Staff was nice and helpful, it is walkable distance to the beach.

Pros: Nice lobby, beds seemed to be clean, pizza from the restaurant was good and the outdoor pool/hot tub were good. Cons: Once you go beyond the lobby, the concrete halls and stairwells are old, dark and dirty. As soon as we walked into our room we were met with a very unpleasant musty/stale smell that made the whole place feel grimy. The floors were dirty and once we saw the condition of things, there was no way we would even consider cooking in the little kitchenette. The second day, we waited all day for clean towels (we were instructed to throw the used ones down a chute) and ended up having to make multiple trips to the front desk to try and get some. We also had to go searching for toilet paper and tissues because those were in short supply when we arrived as well. I appreciate the staff members who were working hard there...unfortunately, some members of the team are apparently not getting the job done.

Check in is terrible! Literally be ready to stand in line. This is not a kid friendly hotel. Prostitutes everywhere. Housekeeping never came to the room. Had to call and request they never came. The only thing that was nice was the beach view.

It’s an older Hotel with some up grades but could use a lot more. My room was not ready at 3 like checking specified. They had to change our room to one like it on a different floor. The beds are not comfortable and the elevator is slow as molasses, they need 2 elevators instead of one. The staff were really nice and the access to the beach is excellent.

The property is an affordable option, especially for being oceanfront. It seems in need of some updates and cleaning in the hallways and common areas, but our room was clean and cute. Thewere only a couple of minor issues with our room: the sliding door to our balcony didn't lock, but did have a bar installed to prevent it from being opened while it was engaged; and the in-room phone didn't work. I would still consider staying at this property again when visiting Myrtle Beach based on price and location. I really enjoyed having the ocean right outside.

The internet had a poor connection. I had to call maintenance up to my room to make my water hot and the water still wasn’t hot all the way … the room floor was very dirty you can hear people stomping soo loud above you but everything else was ok

My friend and I had a nice time there, however, 2 things that need to be addressed immediately; 1- the gentleman at the front desk was smoking so heavily that the check in area was sickening, 2- please check the room to make sure it is perfectly order. Our first room had no power in the entire room except one close to the tv, the phone was not working so we were not able to call the front desk and the air conditioner was not working. Although the second room was smaller, it was in very good. I will give the hotel another chance.

Hotel is a bit worked down but the desk staff more than make up for it. Housekeeping however, left a bit to be desired. Be clear what you want them to do. I asked for bed service thinking, I’d get clean linens/blanket. I returned to find she only re made the bed!! Outside of that inconvenience, my stay was as expected.

Pet Friendly
Good stay overall, 1st 3 floors are pet friendly, placed on 3rd floor even though we didn't have a pet, so the barking was not so bad. On-site pizzeria a plus. Room was clean and spacious.
