The Farm! Charming, Historic 1870’s Farmhouse with all the conveniences!

"House was easy to find and plenty spacious for our group. Host sent great instructions prior to check in and was responsive when there was an issue with the Keurig. There was tons of firewood available so we were able to use the fire pit both nights. Kitchen was well stocked and there were tons of towels for showers. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay for our girls’ weekend! We’ve been traveling together for over 12 years and have stayed in many rental homes, and this was hands down the cleanest home we have ever stayed in. We are all pretty particular when it comes to cleanliness, and we kept joking that this house was probably cleaner than our own homes! Everything was absolutely spotless.The house was also incredibly well stocked and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could possibly need. The kitchen had plenty of cookware, utensils, spices, and all the little things you don’t always find in a rental. The bathrooms were just as thoughtfully stocked, with soaps, plush soft towels that smelled wonderfully fresh and clean, and even little touches like Q-tips and makeup remover rounds.There was plenty of room and lots of sleeping options for our group. Although we weren’t traveling with children, we noticed so many thoughtful touches for families as well, including kid-friendly dishes and utensils, little chairs, games, and other items that would make traveling with children much easier. It really felt like the owners had thought of everything.The homeowners were wonderful—extremely responsive, helpful, and generous with recommendations for restaurants, shopping, and things to do in the area.Our stay truly couldn’t have been better. The home was comfortable, welcoming, exceptionally clean, and incredibly well cared for. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend!"
Cozy Lake Chapin House, One Bedroom, One Bath Quiet Country Setting

"We were so happy with the property, the perfect getaway with our pup. The back deck was great for an evening glass of wine and we were surprised to see two pairs of swans gliding along the lake our first night there. Our pup had fun chasing the boat waves while we relaxed on the shoreline. Close to so many great dog friendly places. We will definitely be back for a longer stay in the future!"

Modern Country Home with Pool, Hot Tubs & Fire Pit - close to wineries & beach

"We had 25 in the house including 3 ages 3 & under. House was stunning and very clean. Plenty of bedroom space for each family and generous common area & seating for all of us to eat together and just be together. Kitchen space and equipment was generous as well, pool was great for 3 kids with the multiple water levels. Having bedroom Blackout shades in the would be a very helpful addition to keep early morning sunlight from entering the rooms. Installing handrails in the showers would be very helpful.. Access to beaches was a comfortable drive away, about 15-20 minutes . Everyone had a great time!"

"The house was beautiful and spacious and very clean. The location was nice and quiet. One of the bedrooms is listed as having 4 twins beds, but this is not really a bedroom, but a section of a living space that is open to a living room and kitchen. This made our sleeping arrangements a little different than expected. There was a construction crew at the house the entire week of our stay, updating the garage and digging a trench for electrical in the yard. This was not communicated to us at all and was frustrating as we had kids playing outside. There were several issues with electrical, missing smoke detectors, and smoke detectors that went off at odd times. Using the double oven flipped the breaker every time, and we did not get support from the host to fix. We ended up finding the lead on the construction project that came to fix these issues. He was very helpful and quick to take care of it. I would hope these wouldn't be concerns going forward, but are examples of how the host was not very communicative.Aside from the communication around the construction and electrical issues, this was a great place for a large group."

"We had a wonderful time at beautiful Bear Lodge! It was everything we had hoped for in our family reunion. Spacious, elegant, fun, well equipped and so well thought out. We especially loved the pool area, soccer field with fabulous terrace balcony overlooking all. We hope we left it all in order today! We would rate this place at a 10!"
