"Stunning location, rooms were fantastic with a great sea view, parking was great, plenty of parking spaces, staff were fantastic, always willing to help, food was great, lovely buffet style breakfast"
"We arrived early, but found it hard to find parking, as there was day visitors.. so we headed to the bar, plenty of seating, along with amazing views, very clean and such friendly kind staff. We decided to have lunch, with glass views, and a glass of wine, and a massive toasted sandwich/ salad/ chips. We could of shared, well presented, super tasty, amazing quality. Then took a walk to the beach, a little narrow, but not difficult, you're find a shop for essentials, & beach shop, pub/ restaurant. The room we had was land view, [ carpark ]no noises, the room was big & double shower, amazing size, nice & hot with pressure. We booked the o go. Lovely restaurant, stunning views, candle light, consistency with everything. Informative with food ingredients, where it comes from, & of the land, we had risotto as I'm a veggie, so 1 option for me, omg, the best ive ever tasted. But the cost of 2 main meals, & bottle of wine was £ 115..so not cheap. The next day breakfast was amazing, lots of selection, if you require a fried breakfast, this cost is £6. Very tasty.. perfect. They have there own bakery, they do not disappoint. They cater for dietary needs. We pre booked a spa in for a massage. Amazing treatment, & issues with my shoulder, all sorted. We then had a sunday lunch, wow the best, plenty of it. This was £ 66 with 1 wine. There is a pool table, but a family there, seem to stay on it. ? All staff, are are lovely, friendly. "
"Lovely clean room, excellent power shower and super deep bath. Very helpful staff and a great atmosphere throughout. We enjoyed the pool and the spa facial and massage were fabulous. It seemed to be a place where guests returned several times, and we could see why. Great place for a Cornish break. We'd definitely stay again."
"Breakfast has been scaled down in selection, quality & service and seemed disorganised.
Also, as a vegan, there is very little available on the buffet table though I acknowledge they offer a cooked vegan breakfast which is good if you want hot.
The granola which I like had run out & I couldn't find a member of staff free to inform them so went without.
It would be a thoughtful touch if biscuits in the room were dairy & egg free just to cater fr a wider clientele. "
"Had a poor experience at this hotel I would not visit again I checked in 31st March had a long drive down the woman on the reception was not helpful at all we checked in slightly earlier but she just said check in is 3pm I get that I’ve travelled the world my point is she was just rude she couldn’t even suggest in waiting in the lobby, I had to take all my cases back to the car as there is no direct car park for this hotel which is another joke no one tells you this till you arrive so they take your keys away we don’t know where it gets parked and they keep the keys, well I wasn’t going to let that happen.
Went for dinner that night the guy that welcomed us was very nice and welcoming as for the other staff which really let’s this places down are very lazy not pro active I asked for 2 cocktails a pornstar Martini I’ve never seen a pot rat martini served like this before was so watered down and the presentation was poor, dinner was good apart from the desert chocalte pudding more like rock hard straight out the freezer when asked the waiter he said he would let the chef know that’s no good like I said poor customer service let’s thisplaced down then at brekkie my chair broke in front of everyone again the staff are not active at all so lazy I had to ask if I could move tables and then on top of that we had to wait for our cooked breakfast over 30 mins bearing in mind the hotel is not busy yet so I dread to think what it would’ve like at peak
My Tv in room and internet crap "
"Undergoing a refurbishment but its an absolutely gorgeous hotel. Some money being poured into it though.
Lovely rooms and public areas and the breakfast was brilliant. Staff all very friendly and professional. Will definitely return."
