A Hidden Gem

I booked this villa last minute and it was the best decision I made while in Mykonos. The location is a little isolated, which I loved. Breakfast is offered for a fee and you can get dinner delivered if you’re not going out. As a solo traveler I felt very safe. And the staff, especially Nikos is extremely helpful and kind. The pool and view is simply magestic. Don’t miss the sunset!

The location of property on Expedia is incorrect. It says the property is steps to ornos beach, it’s a 46 minute walk. This property is a 45 minute walk/10 minute drive from where they say they are. We set up transportation with the property from the airport and we were taken to the middle of no where. We didn’t know where we were. There are little to no restaurants around and nothing open late if you get hungry. We asked the manager for hot water to make tea when we arrived at 2am and he told us that we will have to wait for breakfast at 8am. We also booked 2 rooms with kitchens and none of them had a kitchen. They did not even have a kettle/coffee maker for us to make tea. Only one of the rooms had a refrigerator. You also have to turn on the hot water 20 minutes before you want to use it to shower. Book elsewhere if you don’t want to waste a day and night of your vacation trying to get you money back. The staff was extremely unprofessional and kept lying to Expedia that the location on the website was correct so that I would not qualify for a refund. I had to call the manager to the room and have him speak to the Expedia supervisors infront of me so that him and the owner wouldn’t keep lying to them. The rooms were also infested with different types of insects. Our room was filled with mosquitos and my parents room was filled with flies. This was the worst accommodation experience I have ever had. I lost a night of sleep and a day of my vacation because of this property.
