1. Agriani Hotel

Agriani Hotel
3.0 star property
Xanthi
8.4 out of 10, Very good, (7 reviews)
"A great hotel with clean rooms and plenty of communal space in reception. Loads of parking. The only downside is that there is no restaurant. The free breakfast was very basic with no hot food. But the price was very good for the room. Very quiet and peaceful. The WIFI was a bit hit and miss in certain parts of the room. It is not too far from the town for restaurants and shops so having a car is necessary. Right next door to a petrol station which is handy for late night snacks."

This mountain village serves as a central point for exploring the wider region. It's located in the Rodopi Mountains and offers a genuine sense of local life, with traditional stone houses and narrow, winding streets. The village square is often a gathering point, where you'll find local tavernas serving regional dishes.

When is the best time to go to Myki?
The best time to visit Myki is generally during late spring (May to early June) or early autumn (September to October).

During these periods, the weather is pleasantly warm, making it ideal for outdoor activities like hiking and exploring the natural beauty of the region. The wildflowers are often in bloom in late spring, adding to the scenery, while early autumn offers crisp air and beautiful foliage.

For those looking to enjoy the region's natural landscapes and cultural sites without the intense summer heat, these shoulder seasons provide an excellent balance of good weather and a relaxed atmosphere.
