"My wife and I stayed for our 15th anniversary. We'd been to the restaurant a while ago, like pre-covid, and loved it... and she wanted to go back and just stay the night. We will not be back. The staff working the Friday eve we showed up were incredibly unhelpful. I should have gotten their names. One girl who had two-toned hair checked us in, and didn't give us our key. We had to ask her for it. Really? Parking was a nightmare. They have a parking tag they'll give you but IDK why b/c spots are designated around town, and they have I counted maybe 10 or 12 spots spread out behind the building dedicated to their patrons. Those were all somehow taken so we had to park down the street at the nearby school, and then carry our stuff through the rain up to our room. The room itself was clean, but small. Bed was too soft. The heating/ac things they had in there were either only ever too hot or too cold. They have NO amenities. You get an empty ice bucket. Take it to the bar if you want ice. Bathroom was maybe bigger than the bedroom part. The tub was a big claw footed thing that my wife was scared she'd break her neck trying to climb into. Water pressure was bad in the eve and ok in morning. We did dinner and drinks there. The food was okay. Nothing special. A bit over priced. Our waitress couldn't give us any info about anything and forgot silverware. The guys at the bar were the best part of the experience. Super nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. Made a mean old fashioned, too."

"Thank you for the opportunity to share my experience, I was planning to contact Wyndham corporate to ask if my payment could be refunded. We did not stay, I/we checked out 3 hours later after returning from my kids game. Both of my kids are asthmatic, so mold in the bathroom and a dusty room is not a healthy environment for them...and can be triggers for their asthma. We checked in, went to our room and walked into a strong odor of food or some other smell that seemed to be embedded in walls or carpet; there was mold on the wall in the bathroom, dust webs in the corners, random twist ties on the bed, and there was no pull-out couch as advertised...I needed to sleep 5, so that's why I chose the location...it was a cushioned bench. I went downstairs to talk with the host, but they were managing a customer issue that was ongoing prior to my check in. I needed to get the kids to their game on time, so I checked out after the game. The host didn't seem surprised and actually commented, "was it the smell..." I did not ask for a new room because if there wasn't proper care taken to prepare that room, its likely thats the same level of care taken to prepare all rooms. I would hope they look to address the health and cleaning issues in the room , but also provide proper customer service and refund my payment."
